We've been to Prague before and stayed in this hotel 9yrs ago, we loved it so much we decided to stay here again, big mistake! As opposed to previously this hotel has most definitely not retained its 5star status. The staff were quite rude, the barman was awful shooing us away when we asked for some ice!!!!! The evening concierge...

We stayed at this hotel in December 2015 right after Christmas. The hotel's location is perfect as it is in the city center and few minutes away from the famous astronomical clock. It overlooked the Christmas markets that we enjoyed visiting every night. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was generous and included lots of varieties suiting almost...

Reasonably priced Business-Hotel in central site. Big and clean rooms. Altogether old fashioned USSR atmosphere.Staff not extremely friendly, except the porter at the Night-Reception.The breakfast buffet was always plundered by a crowd of Chinese - the bacon was replenished out of a bucked. Not 5 * but at the most 3*

Rooms were big, some with separate bath and shower, quiet, nicely decorated, pillows not the most comfortable but mattress good. Large and lively lobby with big choice of food and drinks open til late. Breakfast was a huge buffet of hot and cold foods with something for everyone. Very centrally situated, just 10 minutes walk to the astronomical clock. The...

We stayed 3 days during a business and leasure trip . The first doubt for the five star is coming up when you enter because there is no help for the luggage unless you ask for it .Breakfast is ok but the staff is too slow. We asked if there was another available room because it was noisy( due to...

Great location and nice surroundings. The hotel is upper class with a lot of rooms so it can end up to be quite a walk to get to your rooms. Rooms are large and bathrooms are nice, good room service. I found the beds to be rather uncomfortable because they had a gap between them. Otherwise fine. I found the...

.... you will love this hotel. We booked for 7 nights but left today after 5. We could not stand the smell from the smoking in the hotel any longer. It's not just the guests - they actually encourage people off the street to use the bar to smoke (see attached image). The smell from the open bar area drifts...

I had such a bad experience I don't even know where to start... I will start with the good things: 1. Good location 2. Big rooms However, the overall experience was horrible. The customer service, especially Lucia's, was the worst I had ever experienced. Outside it was very hot-30 degrees, and they gave me and my friend (which is pregnant)...

Very well located on Wenceslas Square and within easy walking distance of great sights, bars and restaurants. A really good breakfast provided and rooms are clean and well maintained. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
