My highest recommendation for this hostel. The rooms are spacious, friendly, social, and so pretty. There are plugs for every bed. The staff is the most helpful and accommodating I have ever seen. There is an adorable cat and free espresso and water too. The best thing about this hostel is how open and airy it feels. Very aesthetically pleasing....

Really twenty metres far away from Charles Bridge, owners and their jobmates are really nice! Wifi cat and Charles the dog are a plus too, as is a big plus the bar immediately close to the hostel with good beers. Perfect wifi too, only minus probably is a little bit expensive for backpackers, but I definitely recommend it since location...

The location of this hostel is perfect. It's right on the edge of the St. Charles Bridge and just steps away from a super lively area and excellent public transit. The staff was great, service was excellent. It's a very trendy spot, I think the desk staff mentioned to me that the building was from the 14th century or something...

Very central location. From here, You are just a few steps away from Charles Bridge. Prague castle and the old town are just in walking distance. The atmosphere is very homey and cozy. I was staying the double room for 4 nights. It is fully furnished room with small kitchen and my grandmother loved it. I did love the room...

This was a dream come true, we were literally ten steps away from Charles Bridge! The staff was sooooo friendly, offering us tea, coffee and hot chocolate any time of the day. We got great deals on the Segway tour through the hostel and some great deals on their happy hours at the bar. The rooms were very clean and...

They where amazing! The Host where sensational! Never been welcome like that before in a hostel! Daniel was welcoming and give us tip on everything. (and discount). Location: from my room, I saw the bridge, you could not be closer. For breakfast, crossing over to this little bagel place in front, where they where home made and succulent! I want...

Staff was very friendly, especially Janka and owner. The prices are very accurate. The location of the hostel is just gorgeous. We had 4 people attic suite, it was really spacious. Only bathroom was terrible and it was full of fungus, but you can't have everything with such price and shots of raki! :))

This hostel is perfect for location, and is a relief to not have to stay in bunk beds. The staff were super friendly and have wonderful recommendations for food and sight seeing. I had the unfortunate experience of having inconsiderate roommates who were noisey and loud although they weren't drinking, and did not speak English well, but that is hardly...

This hostel could not be more perfectly located, we saw the entirety of Prague on foot and enjoyed much of the nightlife without needing taxis either. The double room we got was extremely small, but the ensuite bathroom was excellent, and the communal area was lovely as well. The selling point has to be the staff, who are beyond helpful...

I stayed here with a friend for three nights in the 7 bed dorm. The staff were really friendly and even provided free coffee and drinks. Additionally, the reception doubles up as the tourism office so the experts really are at your fingertips. We were able to get multiple discounts as a result. A really friendly feel, but no proper...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
