This 8 room boutique hotel is within walking distance to Prague Castle and Old Town. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The hotel was accommodating to our every need and the service of our butler, Matei, was impeccable. The breakfast includes a wide array of dishes, including traditional Czech items. The little touches made it special - champagne at check...

We have stayed at 5-Star hotels around the world and nothing compares to the personal attention at this small boutique hotel. Matei, the hotel butler, was not only charming but incredibly kind & so helpful. The rooms are lovely, the breakfast is exceptional and it is in an ideal location. Our only complaint is that we had to leave!

I took my partner to Prague for his 30th birthday. We were staying in the suite on the top floor. The room was amazing and looked exactly how it did in all the photos. There is even a private elevator which leads into the room which was convenient. The staff in the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. They could...

This hotel was really good! I lived in a room that was called safire and it was beautiful with ceiling painting and with a big chandelier in front of the bed. The service was excellent and the butlers did everything they could to make your visit there perfect. Even when we already had checked out and came back to the...

This is a super place to stay. It is more like a house with rooms (very nice rooms!) and 'staff'. The service was exceptional with nothing being too much trouble. The position of the house in Prague is also perfect being on the castle side of the river which is much nicer. The room we had (amethyst) was very large,...

First off: the photos don't lie: the common spaces and rooms really are that spectacular. Indeed, the decor is a bit over the top, so if you're looking for a design-forward boutique hotel, your sensibilities may be offended. Think Walt Disney, not Ian Schrager. But the attention to detail is unmistakable: every surface gleams, every cushion is fluffed, and from...

The staff were all extremely warm and welcoming from start to finish during our two-night stay here. The location is great for exploring west of the Vltava River, and only a 10 minute walk away from the east side as well. ----- Ambience: I selected this hotel for a change of scene from the usual modern clean cut designs. This...

There is nothing that can be added to the experience, the staff are highly trained and extremely effective. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable, the location great. That's the practical stuff. The things that make this hotel (suites) so wonderful, the welcome, the breakfasts, the decor, the complimentary wine and cheese at 5pm every evening and the pianist...

An absolutely fantastic stay! Very cozy rooms, excellent staff, room service is wonderful and the breakfast is delicious. Staff is very helpful and friendly. We got a room on the top floor with a terrace overlooking the old city and with a private elevator, that connects to you room, amazing! Would definitely return. Too bad they don't have a restaurant...

I might be a bit of a snob, but I thought the appointments in the hotel let it down. It's a listed building, so they were obviously constrained when it came to the renovation. Having said that, I didn't like all the faux rococo and the questionable art. Obviously some people do and that's cool, but if you are a...

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
