I stay there many times, super service, great location, staff make you feel at home. Home away from Home. If you are looking at seeing Prague at its best, this is the Place, close to Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, I recommend the Penthouse Suite with the rooftop terrasse !!!!

Sure, normally one might commence a review by mentioning the attentive and caring staff, the convenient location, the spacious room on the higher floor of the property with a view of Malostranska Square, and so on. So let's just assume they were all really, really good . . . particularly the Malostranska Residence people when we checked in or visited...

This is possibly one of the best hotels I've ever been to, period. When we arrived we got the room we booked. A cozy room for two with a small tea-kitchen. I went downstairs to see if they had any available upgrades, and the staff went out of their way to hook us up with a better room. I have...

This is the place to stay when visiting Prague. The accommodations are fantastic and the location is ideal. We were a large group and every room we had (we had several) were large, spacious and beautifully decorated. Everyone enjoyed their stay and it was by far our favorite hotel of our trip. What really sets Malostranska Residence apart though is...

We had a 4th floor room/apartment as there is a small kitchenette. Nicely decorated - throughout the building. Staff was wonderfully and genuinely friendly. Nice breakfast (for 6 Euro) at cute cafe next door. You can get everywhere in Prague from this spot. The only slight downside was they had one of those smelly air fresheners that I had to...

Highly recommended. Residence Malostranska is one of the best place we have stay in Europe. Our room was President room with 3 bedrooms. The place is very clean with great traditional decoration. It made us feel like living in the Palace. The location is close to Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. Marketa, Residence Manager, was awesome. She showed us around...

Having had our fourth trip to Prague and we always return to these apartments. We adore the staff so much and have invited them to visit us if they are in the UK. No problems and feel assured of the staff support and a great experience everytime. Having been very unwell before travelling, I was so reassured by my lovely...

Gorgeous rooms, newly redone with ultra modern luxury bathroom fixtures. Right on the town square across from the Malostranska tram stop and St Joseph the Lesser (largest Baroque cathedral in central Europe). Trams go until about 11 or midnight, so if that noise bothers you, ask for the apartment with the room on the courtyard. 3 minute walk to the...

The place itself is fabulous, spotless, and really well finished with great character. The team led by Marketa make it even better, such great hosts. Location is perfect for sightseeing and hanging out in Prague. Why would you go anywhere else!

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
