We stayed at Donatello in Septmeber 2012 and I had booked package (accommodation with massage) directly with hotel. I must say we were pretty happy and satisfied with service. Hotel is located in the centre of the city .. you can easily walk everywhere ... Staff is friendly and bar downstairs is cool. Room was comfortable and clean. We had...

I recently stayed at the Hotel Donatello in Prague city and was delighted with the hotel and its most pleasant staff. The receptionist - Kseniya was so very helpful and professional and went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. Hotel is centrally located and rooms are comfortable, there is also a garage that can be used by...

Nostalgic trip back to the USSR. Dirty Carpets at the entry, flavour sticks to "overtune" the existing smell. Old furnished rooms, wall painting & coulours remembers me at the intourist hotels, espacially places where refurbishment is done. Both doors do not fit properly-- nonsmoking was only the sign at the door. The rate hotel is offering is like "no frill"...

This hotel is perfectly okay in many ways - clean and comfortable and in a good location, with a tram stop and subway only a short walk away. Pleasent antique decor in rooms and comfortable beds. Free wi-fi was a definite plus and the reception staff were very helpful in arranging a transfer to the airport. I would stay here...

This was one of the few times when I was a little dissappointed with a hotwire hotel rating. This was rated by hotwire as a 4* hotel but I think that's a little too high. The room although a little old was clean and everything worked well. The location while not very central is still within walking distancefrom the centre...

I have stayed in this hotel twice and liked it very much. It is a small cosy hotel on a little stone paved street close to the center, with comfortable rooms and great service. Breakfasts are very good.

The honeymoon suite should not be marketed at people wanting a romantic break. Thank goodness we had asked to see the room before paying. We arrived super-late, so stayed for 2 nights. The Bedroom: The first thing to notice was the smell of damp. The Double bed was actually 2 single beds pushed close together with 1 mattress on top,...

Hello! My wife and I have long thought to what hotel to go and chose Donatello! And we have not regretted it. Good price and great location. About 8 minutes to the central square foot. The surrounding area quietly. A quiet street. The hotel is very nice, well-styled. Friendly staff who are always happy to help at any time. We...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
