Hotel Friday is a lovely hotel with a location that makes you appreciate its locality. All amenities are in close proximity and situated where all one needs to visit. On our visit we also managed to watch a movie at the cinema (Cinema City) which happens to be less than 10mins walk from Hotel Friday. This is a bed and...

The location of this hotel is great. Only minutes from the town square of Old Town and the Estates Theater (where Mozart premiered Don Giovanni is on the way and Municipal House and Powder Tower is only a few blocks. About a block to the subway and 10-12 min walk to tram to Prague Castle. The room was sleek, clean,...

This is a charming hotel with wonderful rooms! The service was excellent, the breakfast buffet had great food and the central location was perfect. We walked everywhere in Prague from this hotel! We like to walk and the 30 minute walk to Prague Castle allowed us to see lots of interesting shops and sights along the way. The subway was...

I found this great hotel by chance on the Internet. The moment my husband and I got through the doors we were surprised with the nice, modern decoration of the place. The location is excellent! Very close to the state theatre and the municipal house. City center is 8 min by walk.Rooms are very spacious, clean and have AC; our...

Stayed at Friday hotel for 3 nights with my girlfriend, the hotel was amazing, check in fast, staff friendly, the rooms where appointed well, everything was very clean, big bed and it even had air conditioning. Which was a must when you get 3 days of 30+, it was nice to come back to a cold room. The booking came...

Got a good deal for this place slightly off season. Not sure if all the rooms are equal but I liked ours which had a nice big bathtub. Great location and very helpful people in the reception and the hotel breakfast was nice too (they also offer self served tea/coffee to go all day)

This hotel is in a good location in the center of the old town. We stayed 2 nights after a River Cruise. 5 couples traveling together. The front desk staff were very helpful and spoke English. The hotel is in an old building and every room is different. Our first room was very small and dingy and the bed was...

Very nice and spacious bedrooms immaculately clean and well equipped. Visited with a group of friends, for a city break. Ideal central location with main attractions, restaurants, shops all in the vicinity. The breakfast was excellent, all meticulously set out and well presented with lovely fresh fruits. Being a boutique hotel there is no bar/lounge area, but you have access...

Just finished our 3-night stay at Friday. It was recommended by one of the travel guides and after some search on this site, decided to book it. We arrived by train from Vienna, and the train station is connected to the metro. 2 stops with one change and the hotel is around the corner!! Lady at the counter put us...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
