I cannot fault this hotel on any aspect of our stay - it was just perfect. The hotel is only 3-4 minute walk from Old Town Square, and around the corner from Wenceslas Sq. Our room was very nice, and with more than enough space. We arrived to a bottle of champagne and chocolates, after I had mentioned that it...

We chose prague and the friday hotel for a weekend getaway where i proposed to my girlfriend The hotel stay was great. The rooms was quirky, warm and a good size. Our room overlooked the promenade which was good as you can watch the world go buy, but was slightly noisy in the evenings. Breakfast was included and a good...

Great hotel situated in the centre of Prague's beautiful old town. Situated approximately half an hour from the airport (600 czech korunas for one way when booked through the hotel), the hotel is just off a main shopping street with shops ranging from high street up to Max Mara and other high end brands. This street isn't at all tourist-y...

I would recommend this hotel based on its locations to major tourist attractions and the excellent buffet! The breakfast buffet was probably the best one out of the 7 city tour my wife and I did. You will not be dissapointed. The hotel is centrally located. Wenceslas Square(3mins), Old Town Square (5-7mins), Charles Bridge(10mins), Prague Castle(30mins). All these times are...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
