The Buddha-Bar Hotel in Prague is a beautiful place, well appointed and extravagant. Our "room" was more of a suite, with a hallway, toilet, bathroom and bedroom. Breakfast was lovely, a great choice of hot options, and an interesting selection of cold stuff (meats, cheeses, pastries, breads, fruits etc). The hotel is seconds from the old town square and you...

Cool hotel. Nice staff and very helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Calm and relaxing place. Large bathrooms . The only down side was the shower. Not that it wasn't a great shower but the spray always went all over the floor outside the shower. Even laying a towel down didn't soak up the pond forming which was bit of a...

This is hands-down one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in a LOT of hotels. The atmosphere is luxurious without being overbearing, the staff was responsive and gracious, and the location was convenient to everything. I look forward to staying there again the next time I'm in Prague!

It is a good hotel: clean, kind staff, spacious rooms, good sound/music system (B&O)...etc. But there is an issue: a smell of shisha (hubly bubly) and smoking is everywhere in the hotel including the ROOMS. It is coming from the Buddha Bar Restaurant which is occupying the entire basement of the hotel- smoking is allowed in bars in the Czech!....

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
