Brilliant gem located in the quiter Lesser Town district of Prague. Well appointed apartment in a restored building. Equipped for longer stays with full household facilities, washer/dryer and kitchen but equally ideal for short breaks. Comfortable walking distance to all major sights and conveniently located for trams and funicular railway if needed. Nice little coffee bar in the building serving...

We were very happy with the super-clean and huge suite, which included a kitchenette and washer & dryer. The location was wonderful - very quiet (Mala Strana area) but within walking distance of all the sites. The staff was amazingly helpful, especially Jarmila, who helped us with several requests. The Cafe Lounge on the main level has tasty meals and...

We are staying here as I write and couldn't be happier. A large one bedroom apartment awaited us as we flew in from a demanding two week itinerary around Italy and France. The place is in impeccable shape, in a great location away from the main hustle and bustle but a pleasant stroll to the old town area. There is...

I used to live in Prague so know the city quite well. We chose the Hunger Wall Residence after visiting the restaurant at the same address last time we were there. We rented a small studio on the second floor at the back of the building. The room was perfect and had all we needed plus a kitchen. All the...

These apartments which can be rented for several days are excellent. The apartments are centrally located in easy walking distance to Old Town and Charles Bridge. The tram stops are less than a block away and provide very easy access to all parts of Prague. The staff were very helpful. Kamil chased up my luggage after Lufthansa lost it and...

Spent a short break in this beautiful apartment near the centre of Prague. The Apartment is beautifully finished inside and immaculately clean. The receptionist at the apartment (Jarmila) was extremely helpful. You are only a short walk to the old town. There is a cafe attached to the apartments which is extremely popular with the locals. This apartment is worth...

We stayed here over Christmas for 3 nights and 2 rooms among the 3 of us. So glad we picked this location as opposed to somewhere across the bridge (which was infinitely more crowded/touristy/less pleasant). We walked everywhere from here (except to the airport). It is in such a charming building and the service apartments were very comfortable. I was...

My mom and I had the most enjoyable, comfortable and wonderful stay at Hunger Wall for 4 nights. Our flight had been delayed and we got to the hotel a little after 6pm. I was worried that there would be no one checking us in as their office closes at 6pm and they didn't know of our arrival delay. But...

The rooms are beautiful and have all the modern things you require for a weekend in this beautiful city. Service is 5 star and the only thing they want to do is, make the customer happy, they do this brilliantly well and with a smile at all time. I have already recommended these apartments to many of my friends and...

Really genuine, warm welcome on our arrival with lots of local information given to us. A wonderful place to stay. Large, clean, well equipped, airy apartment. Close to city centre and trams/buses but in a quiet, pleasant street close to the funicular for spectacular views across Prague. Excellent customer service from reception staff. We ate in the restaurant and could...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
