This was my first visit to prague and first time staying in a hostel. The prague square hostel was adequately clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The sandwiches we got for lunches weren't awesome but they did the trick. I found it to be a little cramped and small and they were lots of parties going on...

Well, I have seen many hostels in the last years when I travelled in Canada etc. but this hostel was one of the worst I have ever stayed! Unluckely I booked here for 5 nights... Breakfast: You just get some poor cornflakes and one sandwich. I decided to take the sandwich for vegetarians, but it was with cheese and egg....

We stayed in a double private room on Christmas eve and Christmas day and had an absolute blast. Everyone there was awesome, the pub crawl was great, and everything was really clean with a cool vibe. The hostel was right in the middle of everything great location. Definitely recommend the Sandeman's walking tour!

Very central location, within walking distance for major tourist attractions. Kind and helpful staff. Breakfast very basic but free so no complaints. FREE WIFI WOO. The shower situation is a little awkward for the ladies - communal shower area for those who do not have an en-suite. Other than this minor issue, my stay here was problem free.

We really enjoyed this hostel. They provide a free breakfast and sandwich we used for lunch. The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned regularly and the staff were brilliant. Free walking tours and the Prague pub crawl pick you up from the hostel, both of which are great fun. The wifi is a bit sporadic but the location is excellent being...

Stayed 3 times out of 4 visits to Prague. Has a bar underneath the hostel which is as cheap as anywhere in Central Prague. Location makes this the beat places hostel in Prague. Cheap and the rooms are just basic dorms that would have been cleaned had the group of drunken messes I travelled with not been such a mess....

This hostel is ideally located; barely a minute's walk to Prague's tourist centre, the Old Town Square. Surrounded by bars, pubs, restaurants and cafés, you'll not be in want of night time entertainment! However, this comes at a cost. The rooms are very cramped and rather hot. At night there can be a lot of noise if you overlook the...

It is the best hostel I've been to so far. Super central location. Clean, cozy rooms, but quite noisy at night if you re staying at one overlooking the street - the hostel offers free earplugs for you to get a good night s sleep though. Dormer have their own shower which is very convenient. Kitchen is medium sized but extremely...

The hostel is located in the city center of Prague, all the sights are within walking distance. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are small but very clean and functional. Is definitely one of the best hostels I've ever seen! It is also normal that it at night can be a bit noisy but it is a city...

The majority staff could not have been ruder, the rooms were cramped and the free breakfast was horrible. Extremely hot and noisy at night. What was the most annoying part of my 3 night stay was that a member of staff let himself into our room at 8am and demanded we left as we were supposedly checking out that day,...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
