We arrived back from a very enjoyable three night stay in Prague with another family - and all of us agree that the Dahlia was a good choice !! Having flown with Easyjet from Gatwick, sorted our transfer from the airport with a reasonable priced online service - we were eager to know if the tripadvisor reviews were accurate. Basically...

We found this place to be great!.For a start it is very reasonable for prague. The hotel is situated close to the center, but far enough out that you are not bothered by any noise. The hotel was imaculate and decor very funky. mark the owner was very helpfull and the use of a computer was usefull. There is breakfast...

I have mixed feelings about the Dahlia Inn. My experience there was mostly positive with just a couple of weird things. I found the hotel online and was really pleased with myself for finding it. Nice looking rooms in a boutique style place for only 59 EUR a night in Prague seemed almost too good to be true. The Inn...

My partner and I were quite surprised at how clean and modern our room was. It was spacious and right next to the tram. Mark was extremely helpful. We had to ship some stuff back to Australia and he helped us with the translation. He gave us some good suggestions for resturants as well. One of them is just across...

We arrived after dark at the Dahlia Inn. From the outside the hotel is unnoticeable. There is a sign to say it is the Dahlia but that is all you can see. A door leads through to a concrete stairwell which houses the lift (broken at the time) the hotel itself is situated on the 2nd floor of this building....

After three weeks travelling through Hungary and Austria and staying in hotels with tiny rooms and various standards of comfort, the Dahlia Inn was like arriving at a boutique retreat or an exclusive spa. Like others have said, don't be put off by the entrance - the place is a little gem! Room: spacious with two single beds put together...

Was a little put off by exterior, especially dark entry and stairwell. But inside, was a very nice stylish place. Mark was very helpful and kind. Free Wifi. Breakfast was extra (and looked fairly basic) so I didn't choose this option. My bathroom was outside of my room but I think I was the only once using it. It wasn't...

A fantastic boutique style hotel / pension with a great manager (Mark) who goes beyond the call of duty to make sure you have a great time. We had a great time and found the Hotel to be very comfortable and within easy walking distance of the sites. I will definitely stay there again.

This really was a great little place. We arrived late because of delays with our flight and Mark (the owner) kept in contact with us to make sure he could be there to meet us. The hotel is on 1st floor of the building, the elevator wasn't working when we were there so if thats an issue for you then...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
