I don't think I can say enough about the Dahlia Inn. Greeted by Mark the owner upon my arrival. He gave me advise on places to eat. Mark and his staff are great making my stay in Prague enjoyable. Thanks Anthony From Canada

We recently stayed here for four nights and were shown a large ensuite bedroom on the front of the building. Over our bed was painted a large dahlia. Reception, on the 2nd floor via elevator, is beautifully done. Mark, the owner, and his staff were amazing and always helpful with good suggestions about transit and restaurants. I had a little...

Small and friendly, situated in almost walking distance to old town. You are offered hospitality and kindness. Rooms are clean, well kept, and bathroom is large. Tram stop outside takes you every 5th minute directly to Charles bridge. Ask the owner for tips of what to see! You'll get good recommendations not based on "top ten things to see".

This little hotel, situated right in downtown Prague is a little known gem! The staff are extremely friendly, English speakers and always ready to help you. I needed a taxi and they were able to order one for me as well as giving directions to sites that I wanted to go. Great place to stay!

Four of us stayed at the Dahlia Inn for 3 nights. We had been recommended this hotel and, having stayed there, we fully understand why. It is extremely good value for money, the rooms being large and spotlessly clean with a good shower. Every member of staff we spoke to was very friendly and helpful. There were tea and coffee...

This a great hotel for the centre of Prague. It's a ten minute walk to the city centre and maybe twenty or thirty minutes to Charles Bridge. The rooms are clean, bright and comfortable. Little fridge if you need it. Nice bathroom. Very comfy bed. The staff are extremely helpful and very friendly and professional. Breakfast is available but it's...

The people at Dahlia Inn are the most helpful people ever. The staff was particularly concerned with our comfort in general, and would often ask us if we needed anything or if everything was alright. Mark asked us beforehand the time of our arrival in order to make sure that we would find somebody at the reception. He was also...

BEAUTIFUL hotel room that I found on HostelWorld.com, so incredibly affordable, wonderful lady at the front desk and right near all the main attractions. I used to live in Prague & let me tell you, this hotel is extreme luxury for this city! Cannot wait to come back!

Initially it took us a couple of attempts to find the Dahlia Inn as we had the address but we couldn't see the building. We found the sign advertising the Dahlia Inn and found the intercom. Reception buzzed us in straight away with clear directions to the second floor, when the main door opened, truth be told, we had wondered...

The hotel is quite nice and rooms are big, however there is no airconditioning in the rooms. Also because of this you sleep with the windows open in the summer which means you get woken up by all the noise outside and there is a lot of it. There are ambulances driing past to get to the hospital often as...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
