The hotel is located about 10-15 minutes walk from the Republic Square Metro and that makes it a bit hard to get to, especially if you are tired in the evening. If this is acceptable and the fact that you have to pay for the parking, the hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are very well appointed and the...

I wouldn't call it a great hotel, but it has very friendly staff (especially russian-speaking ones). Hotel itself is located in a quiet but shabby street. But it is quite safe and if you would like to have sight-seeing points in a walking distance that would be a good choice. I didn't like the breakfast since it is pretty average....

We had booked a couple of nights in Prague for my 50th birthday intending to stay at Jurys Inn but due a booking (over booking) mix up ended up at Embassy hotel. Whilst not the full service hotel we wanted we had no complaints about the Embassy Hotel. We got upgraded to their junior suite – enormous room with bathrobes,...

Great location. Walkable to any point of the city. Staff were friendly and helpful contrary to some reviews. Large rooms for european standards. Great choice of food for breakfast. I would choose to stay on this hotel if ever i go back to prague.

This hotel is a twenty minute walk from the main square, so is ideal for walking and getting about. The rooms are spacious with large comfortable beds and a decent size ensuite. Reception staff are friendly and helpful but the waitresses at breakfast leave a bit to be desired. The hotel lacked a coffee or snack bar (there may be...

The hotel is located close to Prague's Old Town and it's only a 10-15 min walk to the Charles Bridge. Unfortunately the surrounding buildings look a bit battered, but that didn't bother us, as we didn't stay long at the hotel at day time. There's a private parking area close to the hotel, which cost half of what is usual...

Rip-off. It's not the first time(read reviews on tripadvisor about EA Art Hotel Embassy) EA network gives you another hotel instead of one that you ordered due to they call it "technical problems". They told me story that they received an order one day before our arrival instead of month in advance. They told us the replacement hotel was 4...

This hotel is in a quiet street and within 5-10 minutes walk of the main townsquare. The ground floor room we had was for a disabled person with a walk in shower. Very spaciuos and clean and well maintained. We found the manageress and the receptionists extreemly helpful and patient in helping us make the best use of the time...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
