Ananta Spa and Resort Pushkar is celebrated for its serene atmosphere, with guests often captivated by its lush greenery and live music. The resort's amenities, including luxurious rooms and a variety of activities, are frequently lauded, contributing to its reputation as a tranquil getaway.
While opinions on value and service are mixed—with some guests finding services overpriced and staff unprofessional—many acknowledge the attentive and courteous nature of the staff. The resort's cleanliness and premium location, close to local attractions, are also well-regarded, despite occasional housekeeping issues.

Though traveling during the pandemic we had a very pleasant stay and the hygienic conditions were in place at the hotel too.
Prompt services along with a polite and courteous staff.
Quiet and serene surroundings.
A good getaway from the 4 month long lockdown in the city.
Will definitely come back here soon.

+1
We stayed in Ananta Pushkar for a couple of days, it was an excellent experience. The property is huge and right in the lap of Aravali ranges. I particularly liked the location, as it gave us enough privacy without going too far from the main city.
We initially booked a classic room, which had no windows and was very stuffy. On the recommendation of the front desk, we then upgraded to a deluxe room which was nice and spacious with a decent sized balcony.Â
The breakfast spread is huge and if you get Chef Pankaj at the live counter you are in for some amazing pancakes and dosas.Â
Each and every staff at the hotel was very polite and humble. However, I would like to give a special shout out to Miss Sushma Negi, she was surprisingly present at the premises every time we went for breakfast or dinner. She was super attentive and understood all our weird requests :) I have given one extra star in my rating because of her.

So we happened to book our stay at Ananta Spa & Resort during the trip to Pushkar. When we entered the property it was pleasant but once we entered the room it was totally opposite. We requested HK to sanitize our rooms infront of us which they did pretty well but apart from that the rooms were not cleaned properly. You can see strains on coffee table placed in your balcony, the telephones were full of dust and washroom had a bad urinal odour which was quite unpleasant ( which we thought might be ok post sanitizing but it was same)
We had booked 3 Cottage rooms out of which the one was on the ground level where the coffee table and marble benches were full of strains.
Now coming to the restaurant and overall feel...
Food was ok but management couldn’t be strict or was not interested to advice people on wearing mask (not sure)
We couldn’t have proper breakfast, When we saw group of guests were picking the Idlis and potato vada by nude hands.
Keeping in view the above factors we can say the charges are quite high in comparison to the service and quality you get.

The layout and rooms are well designed and top class. The food is tasty and interesting. There are, however, many improvements needed. The staff have to trained better. We had to call 4 times for a bottle opener for the beer served in the room, they sent us vegetables in a corn sauce though we ordered stir fried veggies. At breakfast, we had ask several times for coffee and water. Most staff do not speak English. Anamika and Sushma responded well after we complained but the service should be much better for the brand. The resort should also have a cab service as it is on the highway and is practically impossible to get anywhere if you do not have your own vehicle. The only taxi package they provide is for 4 hours. They should tie up with some cab service in Pushkar. The fineprint on their web deals is also irritating. We had the winter package of 1 night and 2 days with welcome drink, unlimited beer for an hour and 20% off on F&B. However, we were told there was no welcome drink because of Covid, that we had only 2 half days, the beer was only to be had from 7-8 pm and the discount was not applicable to alcoholic beverages. Disappointing attitude. I should say that we did get 2 beers complimentary and late checkout at 3 pm after several calls but it could have been handled more elegantly.

Stayed in this hotel during the Christmas eve, 2021. The hotel has weird dining policies. They do not serve food between evening hours, except for a few snack items. The staff is extremely unhelpful, and untrained, they simply ask that, you could sit at reception and feed the child a paratha that we can order, but do not allow for the child to be seated in the dining area, especially in cold of the winters
The classic rooms in the hotels must be avoided at all costs, since firstly these rooms are business type, good for office retreats or business meetings, no view no windows and entry from the service side of the hotels. Their staff even asks you to enter your room through the kitchen if your room is on the first floor. Absolutely untrained staff. And this treatment at a price of 10K INR, its absolutely zero value for money
In terns of retreat, there are hardly any activities conducted in the resort, no traditional Rajasthani cultural programmes,

The entire experience was just disastrous. We got our rooms at 4:30 after arriving at 2:30 and the check in timing being at 1.
The food which is exhorbidantly priced is mostly frozen packed food. One meal they would serve you fresh fish as mentioned in the menu and the next meal would be a frozen version of the same item which they agree to. The menu is so limited that you would have to literally nothing to choose from, Covid excuse can’t work when your accepting guests and you are houseful.
The service is just scary, you could sit at the bar hours and not get served. The managers roaming around would just not care if you complain. The property is well made but it would be a pain to come to for a vacation.

It’s the worst experience of buffet in my life, don’t know from where should I start, Firstly, the taste was pathetic and the buffet spread was less then what we order in a la carte usually, rice was not fresh, moong daal halwa was like besan halwa with no ghee in it and it was so dry, other dessert was bad, they had no starters except one and its just an effortless chat which was tasteless. Light was so dim and the a. c was not working, I was sweating while having the food. They only have one restaurant which is worthless. We gave our car in valet parking and in the app it showed the car was on for 25 min and it was not locked as well. Our dinner and night was ruined because of them. Washroom near the restaurant was not clean and did not have tissue paper or dryer. Please don’t book room in this property you will definitely regret it later. We are very lucky that all room here were sold out so we booked another property but our dinner experience was the worst. The are not even trying to get all these things resolved.

I have visit the Pushkar/Ajmer with my wife and booked the Super Deluxe room for a night.
1. I took one hour to check-in into the room.
2. They didn’t even asked for water or welcome drink.
3. The room wasn’t maintained a lot of parts were broken such as flush in the toilet, which they didn’t repaired after complaint as well and didn’t even changed my room.
4. The cottages are far from parking/reception so they provide Electric cart to the cottage but what about your return to reception or parking?
They just have 2 cart in such a big resort.
*So the process is call reception ask for buggy I.e book a buddy
* remind them to send a buggy
* remind them to send a buggy
* get angry and they will tell you to have patience
* start walking towards reception or keep waiting
May be someday buggy will arrive to pick you up.
I wanted to check out at 11.30 as I have to leave for Delhi urgently but bcoz of such a long process i left resort at 2.00 pm
I would suggest you to stay at Pratap Mahal ( 5-6km from Ananta spa and resort ) cheaper rates and better experience as per my experience.
Thank you
