Come live in a fairy tale for a while! The Hotel U Malého Vítka is located in the heart of the Old Town in Český Krumlov on one of its oldest streets – Radniční ulice. A 7-minute walk to the castle and less than a minute to the town square. The hotel was created by joining three burgher houses together. All three houses still stand on their Gothic foundations; two of them have Baroque Classicist façades while the third still bears its original Gothic appearance with a portal from the later 15th century. Three Gothic houses come together to create a Medieval atmosphere with a friendly modern attitude. There are 20 rooms to choose from, while we lovingly look after you and support the original historical atmosphere. All our rooms feature standard modern facilities such as bathrooms and showers, TV, telephone in the room, and Wi-Fi throughout the entire hotel. A labyrinth of corridors, impressive wooden furniture, cross vaults… An atmosphere straight out of films and fairy tales.

Very cosy medieval hotel right in the city center. I've had the best sleeping expierience in this place - so definatly recommend it! The price is a little bit high, but belive me it is worth it! I'll be coming back there for sure. And the breakfast is excellent.

Near by castle, restaurant and every thing. And you can buy drink in small market in five mins walking . The bed are big and the space is big too. Our four people room even have balcony, table and tv. It’s worthy the price.

On the road in front of this hotel was the good view of the castle. Old building and nearly 600 years old. Comfy bed, ordinary breakfast but good food. Small shower room but clean. One thing for me that not nice was room too warm in the summer because there was no air conditionin

The hotel is just off the town square. The rooms were large. In fact we booked 3 rooms for 6 people that was not necessary. They have one large room with five beds though only one bathroom. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is no elevator so hauling up any heavy luggage up

The advantage is, that this place is in the centre of Ceske Krumlow. The breakfast was casual, the room furniture were from the middle age, but was comfortable enouguh. We felt so good in this hotel. I recommend everyone.

Hi, I am booked to stay here in September and my booking says there is tea/coffee in common area. I know they dont have a kettle in room. I was hoping someone can tell me if they do have tea in common area. Thanks, Steve
Yes, it is available in the common area. The hosts were very nice and actually brought a kettle, tea and coffee sachets up to our room without us asking.,

Hi because this is an old building, I am curious if there are fire scapes and smoke detectors for all floors and rooms in the event of a fire? I know it is a non-smoking hotel, but things sometimes happen. Are the windows large enough that if someone has to climb out, they can get out?
OMG. I can't believe that you asked this question. We thought about this when we stayed. The building actually consists of 3 different buildings joined together. Winding passageways and stairs (no elevators) to get to and from rooms. Front door is locked at night and you need a key to open it from the inside. Good luck getting out in case of a fire. Don't remember if there were fire detectors in the rooms. Windows were large enough to fit through, but our room was three floors up; it would be a big jump. On the other hand, the building has been around for a long time.

Hii, May I know which is the best transport get from Ceske Budejovice to Cesky Krumlov? By train or bus easy to reach the hotel? Sam
Bus is better than train. We took the bus operated by Regio Jet, also known as Student Agency (not only for students). Buses are comfortable and very reasonably priced. It's a 15 minute walk from the bus stop to the hotel.

Hi hi, I saw from photos on website there is bathtub inside the double room. Is there ensuite bathroom with toilet and shower?
Hi, We have booked for tomorrow until Wednesday (25/06 - 27/06). Can someone tell me where to best park our car for 3 days? We know that there are no parking possibilities in the old town where the hotel is. We would be glad to receive an advice where to best leave our car for the duration of our stay. Thanks a lot in advance! I know it is pretty late to ask for help when we are leaving tomorrow. Best regards, Kat
"ask for any view, possibly on the second floor"
"Our room was called "Buru Buru" - No. 12. Great room. Windows to the courtyard, view of the castle, great.,big tub."
"Room no. 12 is the best"
"We stayed in top floor, which is very quiet."
"Ask for a quiet room off the street side"
