The Valbruna Inn situated in a small village in the Julian Alps is a stunning place to visit and stay. The rooms in the Inn are spacious and exceptionally comfortable. Of the various hotels we stayed at in the region including Slovenia and Austria, the Valbruna Inn was our favorite. It is a treasure!

This is a cosey hotel in the middle of the village. Although after 10 pm you won't hear a fly. I can imagine if there are more guests this is not the case. Nevertheless the whole village is dead silent after 10 pm. Service is done mostly by (young) girls which sometimes lack of experience (logical and to expect for)....

Dear Guest, Thank you for your nice and detailed review highlighting so many of the features of our Inn. We are pleased you noticed how we enjoy giving young people a chance to provide great service to our guests while learning the hospitality business. We are also happy you found our breakfast “fantastic” and the choices “superb”; our cheese and...

The Valbruna Inn anchors the beautiful village of Valbruna in the Julian Alps, a village well off the tourist circuit that offers great proximity to world-class but little known ski resorts, road cycling, and hiking. While the accommodations are wonderful (try the Jof Fuart--it has a cozy fireplace) what makes the Valbruna Inn so special and a must for die-hard...

This the second time we have visited this hotel from New Zealand. It is well out of our way from NZ but worth the effort to get there. Both times we have been so impressed we have extended our stay. Valbruna is a lovely village nestled in a quite valley. The staff at the Inn make ones stay truly remarkable....

Stayed here for two nights and were well looked after. Staff were friendly and outgoing.our room had glorious views over the mountains and was comfortable. A lack of air conditioning made it. A bit stuffy at night but current temperatures are unusual.

Valbruna Inn is located in a very special part of the world, neslted in a vally in the Italian Alps. I imagine it is a popular spot during the ski season. We stayed here one night on our big European roadtrip. It was meant to be a pit stop on the way to Venice from Heidelberg, we had no specific...

I have again had the pleasure of visiting and staying at the Valbruna Inn, in Valbruna, Italy. If you have not been, go. The Inn is a mixture of European craftsmanship and comfort coupled with what can only be called North American conveniences, and the best of Northern Italian cuisine. Incredible! It is, all of the best of both worlds....
