Excellent one night stay. Friendly welcome, despite the necessary temperature check and face masks. Stunning room with a very small balcony with the most spectacular view (balconies can just take two chairs and a small table). We wanted to maximise the view and so purchased local Prosecco, meats, olives and cheeses from the local supermarket. The staff were only too happy to lend us flutes, chinaware, linen napkins and cutlery. Comfortable king size bed. Spotlessly clean room and a sanitation certificate available to view by scanning a QR code on the back of your door (we didn’t bother). Pool is beautiful, great temperature, clean, plentiful sun loungers. Access to the lake for a swim right from the hotels on jetty. Super friendly barman, complimentary welcome alcoholic drink (available due to booking directly via the hotel website). Plentiful parking, right outside the hotel, free of charge. Breakfast was the standard buffet fare, all behind glass walls and served according to what you point at by the friendly team. Couple of small negatives; the room had some serious cobwebs which only showed at night when the bedside reading lights were pointed to the ceiling, and the friendly waitress was too keen to clear crockery resulting in my coffee cup being taken away when my jug of coffee was only half consumed. I think they are probably settling into the new way of working in the breakfast room. Overall, stunning, excellent, serious about Covid and I’d return in an instant given the opportunity!

My husband and I were visiting friends at Lago Iseo and this hotel came highly recommended by our friend.
We could not of had a better choice. The rooms, while small by American standards, were perfect for two people and wonderfully appointed. I gauge the quality of the Hotel By it’s restrooms, and our the bathroom was wonderful. A full size large shower With reservoirs of soap and shampoo readily available without the necessity of small plastic bottles.
And easy to reach sink (I’m very short) with easy to decipher water controls. In short, the room was very comfortable… And here is the part I haven’t mentioned. Our window opened on the lake…Looking straight out ouch both the lake in the mountains. This is one of those views that makes you glad to be alive.
Downstairs there was a very comfortable reading and television room, with a small bar which had outside tables. The days we stayed here were overcast, but we hardly noticed as we sat out on the deck under a large umbrella. Next to the hotel was an excellent restaurant called Ristorante Bella Iseo…But that’s the topic of another review.
Bottom line, this is a comfortable, well-appointed, and beautiful hotel on a beautiful lake in Brescia, enjoy.

Waking up by a lake is 'therapy' for any situation and this location is joyful. The staff are a joy; especially Veronika who was hard working and efficient in equal measure, with a personality and sense of humour to match - made sure we had a table suitable for us to share with our dog every day at breakfast. vlad makes, arguably in my husbands opinion, one of the best Negroni's. The food in the restaurant is also fantastic.

This hotel is absolutely stunning! Our room was gorgeous and had a beautiful view of the lake. The pool looked directly over the lake and there was always space for us.
The bar was great and the bar man working was always so lovely to us!
All the staff were so helpful, kind and made our stay so comfortable.
The restaurant “Bella Iseo” attached to the hotel served wonderful food and wine in a gorgeous setting, I would recommend the delicious risotto.
The hotel adhered so well to the rules of social distancing and safety - there was antibacterial gel in common areas and everyone was wearing masks as required, this was our first holiday post lockdown and we felt safe the entire time.
Would recommend this hotel and Lago d’Iseo to all of my friends and family.

Many things about this hotel are great, but then others, not so much. First, it is situated on a highway, so part of the hotel faces the busy, noisy road and part faces a lovely lake. The noise from the road is somewhat muted if your room faces the lake. The front desk staff could not have been any more welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was excellent, but the morning crew was surly and inhospitable. The evening staff was excellent, and we had a wonderful meal there. Some of the breakfast items were included with the room but there were a number of things that were not, such as crepes or pancakes for 8 Euros.

We are sorry for the late answer but when you have written the review the hotel was closed for seasonality and your stay was on 2021. We thank you in particular for underlining the kindness and professionality of our staff and the great food on the terrace of our restaurant. We want to communicate that we made several improvements for 2022: the 200 mqs new terrace on the water and all items included in the breakfast. From this year, during the breakfast service, our Chef prepare some dishes on the spot. Our building is a historical one and it dates back to 1841 and the road was built after that. The road is a local one, not too crowded and the rooms are soundproofed. We had a great long weekend at the Araba Fenice. The staff is very friendly, helpful and always attentive. Beautiful lakeside room, very clean. Well located a bit north of Iseo, takes a 5 min bike ride to town. Hotel offers street bikes or mountain bikes for a small fee.

Fantastic hotel with an amazing location. Room was modern, clean, with large bathroom.
Several pool areas and dock on lake to relax.
Staff were very helpful making phone calls to reserve for dinner. The hotel also has bikes for rent or kayaks / paddleboards directly on property, making it very easy to enjoy activities straight from the hotel. The bike ride to other towns was very pleasant and I highly recommend.
We had a room facing the road, and while I´ve seen some reviews of people complaining about the noise, we didn´t hear the train or cars.
The only downsides are breakfast wasn´t incredible, and parking was a bit stressful. We always found a spot, but the restaurant is very popular and it´s possible there is no parking due to restaurant guests depending on the time you arrive.

Araba Fenice is located on Lake Iseo and provides wonderful views, excellent service, comfortable accommodation and two excellent restaurants. The infinity pool adds a delightful and restful addition where you can swim parallel to the lake whilst enjoying the amazing scenery and maybe a glass of the locally produced wines. Pilzone station is less than 10 minutes walk away and provides links to towns and villages both north and south of the lake including a one stop trip to Sulzano where you can catch a ferry every 20 minutes to Mount Isola to sample delicious local delights on this fascinating and beautiful Lake island. The hotel will offer shuttle services at a price per person each way nevertheless the local trains, ferries or possibly a hired bike will let you explore Lake Iseo at your leisure whilst getting to know the area and people around the lake so much better. Alternatively just relax around the pool whilst the helpful staff look after you. Enjoy!

The hotel felt a little Great Gatsby esque with the pool on the lake and the music late in the evening. I liked the other people staying in the hotel, all of us pretending we were way cooler than we were but friendly none the less. The service was friendly and sincere. The floating pier room was a testament to the life and art of Christos and was worth the splurge in my opinion. I would stay here again.

The best thing going for the hotel is the lakeside view from the rooms. But the staff wasn’t always helpful, the manager disengaged, and the quality of the jacuzzi in the room not worth the extra money. While parking is free; it’s very limited and so you pay an extra 15 euros for a guaranteed spot. Everything is a drive away from the hotel, which is good for a little quiet but bad for non-property dining options especially if you want to enjoy the region’s wine. The lakeside infinity pool was beautiful but SO freezing cold I couldn’t enjoy. There are plenty of other options for hotels in the region; seek them out.

Dear sir, at first thank you for your review. Our hotel is in Pilzone, 3/ 4 kms far from the center of Iseo and we are in Franciacorta region. Our hotel is a relax hotel and every where you can find that is not in the center of the town of Iseo. We don't understand your complain regarding our location because we are just 10/ 15 minutes by car far from the wine cellars, 5 minutes by car far from Iseo and 20 minutes by car far from Brescia. We also offer two different type of restaurants in hotel: "Terrazza 1841" that offers sea fish and pizza gourmet and "Bella Iseo" offers typical dishes. Also regarding the parking place, on the request, on the reservation and on our web site we communicate that we have a limited parking place but if the guests want to have a guaranteed spot, we can reserve it for 15,00 € per day. Regarding the staff, we apologize if something went wrong but we don't received complain from you also at your departure and normally our staff is really helpful and kind. About the pools, both are not heated and we never promise that the swimming pools are heated. Also regarding your complain of the Jacuzzi, we don't understand it. The opinions of our guests are very important for us, but especially constructive critiques so that we can improve. If you would like to contact us and explain what your problems were at the hotel, we would be very grateful. It’s about a 30-40 minute walk to Iseo where there are a lot of restaurants and shops. There isn’t much locally. We hired bicycles from the the hotel. It’s a pleasant cycle. We didn’t need to use our car.
There are more places to choose from in the Pilzone area.
