What a fantastic experience. If you want a peaceful and beautiful getaway then Seagulls is your place to go. Rob and Angie are the best hosts you can ask for and the food is just delicious. I cant wait to go back again.

We spent the Easter weekend at Seagulls and absolutely loved every moment. Only a short distance from East London makes for easy access. The hotel has the most spectacular setting right on the beach. One of the best settings I have experienced during my countless trips to the Eastern Cape. Staff were super friendly and nothing was to much for...

Conveniently situated with easy access from East London crossing the Kei River at the mouth on the ferry, Seagulls is right on the beach. Sea views from the dining room, bar deck, bar/lounge, pool and grounds and crashing waves to send one to blissful sleep. Informal and intimate with friendly and attentive staff, one feels like a member of the...

In January my husband was diagnosed with cancer and we have had a real torrid last four months. We wanted to get away for the long weekend just to de-stress, relax and charge our batteries for the next step. So we decided to go to Seagulls Hotel. This weekend turned out to be exactly what we needed. The tranquil setting,...

I only went through for one day for lunch with my friends and family but between the five of us we could all agree. These were the best chips in all of South Africa (better than Steers). I had macaroni and cheese and for R35 I definitely got my money's worth. Their burger paties were also top notch and their...

We had an awesome, fun filled and relaxing 7 day family holiday at Seagulls. The hotel is perfectly situated right on the beach with breathtaking seaviews. Rob and the kitchen staff served the most delicious, heartwarming meals, this was definitely our highlight! Special thanks to Allyson, Fiona and Zoleka for your hospitality and going out of your way to make...

This is an old school beach hotel right on the beach with about a 10m walk onto the sand. The hotel is old but with very comfortable rooms most overlooking the sea. There is no air-conditioning and no TV but the sound of crashing waves was enough and watched a couple of cricket matches in the pub. The staff were...
