We stayed 4 nights. If you are looking for a travel lodge type motel this may not be for you, but if you want a good humoured host , a comfortable bed and a great breakfast in the rather unusual surroundings of an old village school in a quite country Norfolk village you will not be disappointed. You will in... More

The place is quirky and fun, with an eclectic style and a friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed the walking in thw woods nearby and the full breakfast was hearty and generous. The first night the only room available was a kooky twin bedroom which was decorated like a countryside wartime museum! Unfortunately there was no lock on the door and they... More

The B&B is in a Victorian school building filled with antiques and curios. We were fortunate to get a late booking. We were accommodated in a timber built cottage in the grounds. It had a bunk bed but that was a novelty and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with espresso coffee, fresh mangos and berries and other quality ingredients. Our hosts... More

My wife went here a few weeks ago and was dying to show me. If you love antiques and unique places combined this is well worth a visit. You could spend hours browsing, eating and drinking in this place which consists of an an antique shop, cafe, bar and hotel. The owner and family are alsolovely

A last minute booking, and found just by chance, a brilliant Bed and Breakfast Hotel, the couple who own it (who's name I forgot sorry) made us feel welcome and at home, the breakfast was hot and plenty. The hotel had Antiques and collectables all around which will keep you entertain for hours. This 150 year old school house, which... More

In the village centre is this excellent guest house. Comfortable rooms, bar lounge and restaurant. Charming family run establishment. Good food both at dinner and breakfast, cooked fresh. Parking at front. Family pets a delight. We will be staying again.

We were disturbed to see a cat and a dog in the hall just outside the kitchen. There were no locks on the bedroom door. Clutter everywhere including the room. Breakfast was average. Nice location and parking.

We were made to feel extremely welcome at this quirky B&B, and provided with some much-needed tea and biscuits on arrival in a sitting-room packed to the gunwhales with a remarkably eclectic collection of much-loved 'objets' from all over the world. Our room was comfortable and cosy, with a spacious bath and shower-room, and the 'bespoke' breakfast in the conservatory... More
