We visited Galley Bay for our honeymoon in August 2013. It was low season so we felt like we had the place almost to ourselves. Food is excellent. Happy hour on the porch watching the sunset is something I still dream about! The staff is...More

Hi Guyinbville. To be perfectly honest with you the water is rough pretty much all year. there is a steep drop off which also makes getting in and out very challenging. the water, like the weather cannot be predicted but in 5 trips to at different times of the year I have never been in the water. if you are looking for that floating kinda water you will have to take an excursion. if you read thru you will find that is the major "complaint" red flags all week. It's annoying but it doesn't ruin your stay as Galley Bay is so beautiful
