We stayed at a private home nearby, but had two lovely evening meals, one with Bryan, at Encanta La Vida. Food was delisch, servings perfect, company very hospitable. Can't wait to return to the Osa - thank you Encanta for sustaining the natural integrity of Costa Rica

I had such an amazing experience at Encanta La Vida. I traveled here for one week as apart of a yoga retreat and was incredibly sad to have to leave. We were shown to our room; Deluxe 1 by the ever sweet Terry. I was amazed by how big and spacious the room was, not too mention my bed was...

I would like to recommend this place but cannot. There are many attractive and charming qualities such as the beautiful grounds, abundant wildlife, easy access to the beautiful beach (the more expensive resorts have none or difficult access), and relative affordability (approx half that of the bigger resorts). Meals are served plated with the option of sitting at a communal...

Thank you for writing. It is unfortunate that you did not feel comfortable enough to say anything while you were here. It would have been easy to give you a larger helping (or second helpings) at any meal. We keep snacks on-hand like nuts, fruit and cookies for people (kids especially) who need a bit in-between meals. Sustainable tourism and...

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Encanta La Vida. In fact, it wasn't until traveling to more remote areas on the Osa Peninsula were we able to fully appreciate the scope of wildlife we enjoyed from the comfort of the resort. The staff was super friendly and we loved the communal meals. The only thing I would...

I've had to really think how I wanted to rate this place. We were there for four nights. There were only six other guests the first night, four the second and third and two others on our last night. The grounds are gorgeous. The wildlife around is great (though the owner admitted to feeding the wild turkeys..not good). The yoga...

Oh boy – What can I say. Most has been said already. We had an almost perfect experience. Besides the jungle, the room and the setting, the meals were amazing as was the yoga overlooking the ocean. But the best part was the staff. Teri, and the 2 Sarahs became our friends and did all they could to make everything...

Our family enjoyed a visit to Cabo Matapalo. Encanta la Vida is the perfect location for exploring the Osa. 3 kinds of monkeys, scarlet macaws, parrots, toucans...........all passed by our cabinas every morning and afternoon. The salt water pool was a fantastic way to cool off-and the pina coladas are the best in CR! The meals are made with fresh...

My husband and I stayed at Encanta for 4 nights while we were in Costa Rica and we couldn't have had a better experience. When flights went wrong, Encanta helped us get a hotel in San Jose for a night and made sure we still got to do everything we wanted to do since we missed a day. The food...

Once I arrived at Encanta La Vida, I immediately felt welcomed and at home. The staff is very friendly and helpful getting you settled in to your home away from home. The manager is so lovely, makes sure you are comfortable, and sets up any activities that you want to do during your stay. The food is absolutely amazing which...

“Our family of 5 shared Deluxe cabins 1 & 2, which are the upstairs and downstairs of the same building. We could have all fit into either space, but that would have been a bit crowded -- plenty of sleeping room but for that many people there would have been limited storage space. It was lovely and nice to have a hot shower as an option. Both rooms had electricity and a small fan next to each bed, but the power went out about 10 p.m. so those fans don't run all night. Not a problem for me, I was always asleep by then anyway.”
