Just back from Andrew and Tasha's wedding at The Batch. This is a country house style venue set in the countryside, the gardens are very pleasant with plenty of opportunities for photography. Inside there is a selection of function rooms for different size parties. Everywhere is clean and tidy and well looked after. The overnight accommodation is also good, we...

Son and daughter-in-law recently got married at this lovely venue. James and his amazing staff just dealt with everything from when we arrived until we left the next morning after our breakfast; they just got on with everything as per couple's wishes and you just didn't really notice how smoothly everything went until you went home. Nothing was too much...

My husband and I got married at Batch on 4th March 2017. We had an amazing day.. and so much of it was down to the amazing team there... To start with.. the initial viewings and planning meetings were brilliant- there were no turned up noses at my ideas and no question felt silly to ask. James probably got sick...

So my review is a little overdue!! But I've only just got into trip advisor and as we had such a magical day I still wanted to write a review. As soon as we visited The Batch we knew it was going to the place we got married, it instantly felt right, very intimate and romantic. James, Anna and Holly...

Came here for a meeting and decided to stay over rather than driving home. A lovely hotel - a little off the beaten track, but well worth the detour. Superb welcome and service, a very good meal at the meeting and the breakfast was well worth sampling. Plenty of parking available, so why not give it a try if you...

We attended our friends wedding and stayed in one of the four poster bed bedrooms. (Room 2). This is a fabulous venue with plenty of room and lovely gardens. The staff were really helpful and friendly. It feels very much like a family run business in terms of the personal touch and dedication by the staff. Our bedroom was very...

I have been to this place twice in the last 6 months, both occasions big parties/functions. I give it 3 stars because it's a 3 star venue, whoever says this is a 5 star hotel has clearly never set foot in a 5 star hotel. When I looked it up to do my review, I was genuinely shocked to see...

I think the customer has misunderstood the AA rating system, which can be confusing. The AA web site clearly defines it's rating system as being two separate categories. Here is the link to their site. http://www.theaa.com/travel/accommodation_restaurants_grading.html The two different categories are Hotels and Guest accommodation. Our AA Sign clearly states our rating is for Guest accommodation which is for Restaurants...
