Tiger camp was a nicely spread out lodge, with very friendly staff and good food! The rooms were clean and spacious, with a few flaws. The hot water was patchy and there was a constant leak in the AC, which is the only thing preventing this from being a 5 star review. Overall, barring a few minor things, a pleasant stay and a nice property!
Excellent… Super Awesome… Picture Perfect Well well well what an amazingly beautiful resort with all exclusive amenities, lush greenery, delicious food, and super friendly staff with prompt service. Location: 5 / 5 Located close to the Amadanda Gate (Bijrani Zone), Girjia Gate (Girjia Zone), Dhangadi Gate (Dhikala Zone). Resort Exterior and Amenities: 5 / 5 The resort is really big and has full of lush greenery in all parts. Cottages, Dining Area, Swimming Pool, River Side, etc are located in the best available spaces and has enough space to enjoy all the activities. Dining & Food Options: 5 / 5 Best in class, just class above. Excellent food spread throughout the day for breakfast-lunch-dinner. A number of options are available with excellent taste, quality, and service. In the evening time from 8-10 PM they have live music which is the cherry on the top, the singer makes your evening beautiful with his nice soft soulful voice. The staff at the dining area is really prompt with their service is top-notch. You will surely enjoy your time here with food, the natural breeze, and live music. Rooms: 5 / 5 We opted for Deluxe Cottage for 2 nights at Tiger Camp, Jim Corbett. Small nice welcoming Varanda at the cottage entrance with 2 chairs and a table, you can sit and have Tea Coffee Snacks here. It had 2 rooms, one big spacious bedroom with a mid-sized entrance lobby type room. Warm lighting, big comfortable bed, TV unit, AC & Fan, big 4 seater sofa, table, and chair just wonderful. Coming to one of the main parts of any accommodation- Bathroom, it was really big and had all the required bathrooms toiletries, 5 AM to 12 AM hot water supply.…
A very pleasurable experience. The resort is located on the National Highway..aound 2kms from the Garjiya zone gate. The property is very beautiful..covered with mango trees...u can spot a few monkeys but they don't bother you..they mind their own business...They have a very nice swimming pool...and also access to the kosi river. In the Oct2021 rains ..there was some damages due to which the river access is a little tough... But views are great. They have two large grounds.. So if you are coming in a group.. There is plenty of space for cricket.. badminton.. They also have TT and foosball tables. We got the delux room. It was very spacious...even had a separate dressing area .The rooms have lots of windows with greeny all around. The cottages are two floors..we took the first floor. It also has a nice sit out verandah where u can enjoy tea. The staff is extremely polite and cooperative..food was delicious.. They had live music in the evening...if you don't want to opt for resort meals.. There are lots of restaurants nearly... We dined at Village Vatika and the food was super tasty and value for money.. The decor was also nice. The Safari was arranged by the resort..we opted for the Garjiya zone since the forest is most beautiful in that zone and it is bigger than Jhirna and other zones. Also because it is nearest from the resort.. So you hardly spend 10min on the road before you reach the forest. We opted for 6-9am safari... The forest was absolutely fresh and beautiful in the morning.. We spotted lots of monkeys.. peacocks...deer... Rare birds.. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared lots of details about the unique trees.. animal habits..Jim Corbett's history... Overall a wonderful experience.…
Tiger Camp is a gorgeous, spread out resort in the lap of nature. Very very green, peaceful, refreshing ambience, well kept modern spacious aesthetic rooms with sit outs, clean massive pool, easy access to the Kosi river, decent food and polite staff… what more could one ask for !!!! A true hidden gem of a place, all city dwellers would go back rejuvenated and happy after spending a few days in this wonderful oasis. We were a family group of 10, including young kids and had 3 rooms. Two Deluxe cottages and 1 Terrace room. We booked directly with the hotel and got very good package. Faced absolutely no issues at all on any front during our 3 days stay. Keep it up team Tiger Camp 👍👍👍
Our visit to Tiger Camp.was a short and sweet visit due to Covid restrictions earlier we had not been out on a holiday our trip started from Gurgaon early morning and it took us 6 hours except for a short patch the road was in excellent condition and we reached in 6and half hours in time for lunch. Took us a short time to check in and the room was spacious and clean with fresh linen.A quick sumptuous lunch and we went down to the Kosi River side passingdown by the pool due to floods last year in Oct 2021 much of the embankment was washed away and labour had been put in to repair it think the work should be done in about 2 months The cottages are in the midst of a created forest of bamboo and mango trees with shrubs all over gives an Ambience of a dense jungle which was a perfect setting . The evening set was a movie on Jim Corbett with Tom Alter as the narrator around a bonfire with a barbecue going on later we listened to a scintillating performance by a local singer who regaled us with bollywood hits The food was really amazing never was a menu repeated and the chef gave the guests great food there were some shortcomings in housekeeping but all were resolved through a helpful and polite staff All in all a five star experience which we would love to have again my compliments to Mr Rakesh the GM and his staff at TIGER CAMP for being ever so helpful to make our stay as comfortable as possible. …
My stay at the Tiger camp resort was one of the best experiences I had in all my vacation travels over the last 25 years! Awesome cosy cottages, sumptuous food, courteous staff and to top it all - a very humble property owner. My wife and children were thrilled at the bright sunlight early in the morning right on the terrace of the cottage. Add to it the lovely view of the hills and it made a great start to the day. A 3 minute walk to the riverside through its meandering pathways passing through the swimming pool and lush green forested campus is a delight in itself. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a hassle free stay away from the hustle of the township yet just minutes' walk away from quiet serene surroundings.
Great hospitality. We were group of 22 adults and 4 toddlers and everything from the time of booking to exit was managed extremely professional. We booked 11 cottages including all meals. The rooms were huge and bathrooms were equally big. The terrace cottages had a huge terrace outside the room which can manage to sit 20 people. The beds were comfortable and food was excellent. I wish I could give 6 stars for food and service at the restaurant. The property have huge open spaces with direct access to river. A great choice for group bookings and family.
The resort's location is amazing, considering it's a waterfront property. The food is amazing too esp. lunch and dinner. Breakfast is fine but not as good as the other two meals. When it comes to infrastructure - it appears that the resort has seen better days. It is definitely in need of a major restoration. The room (cottage) we were staying in had dirty corners, the tea maker smelled bad and when asked for a replacement, the house keeping staff washed it and gave it back. Lighting in the room was poor and a few fixtures weren't working. The bathroom is huge, perhaps more than necessary however the fitting is dirty and outdated. Coming to the furnishing, the blinds and windows were full of dust and perhaps they are cleaned occasionally at best. Bedding and furniture is decent for the price and I don't have any complaints there. Room service & house keeping services are great at certain times and miserable during others. It just depends on your luck. Overall I had a decent experience. It could have been much better, even while considering the price that I had paid. While, yes, I wasn't expecting a five-star stay as obviously I hadn't paid for that but I feel I could have got a better experience in the same price at some other resort.…
Infra, amenities, utilities, services, all crumbled and almost finished. Feel so sad for such a beautifully located resort. Food though some respite.. all in all a 100% waste of one's expectations and money. Heqrd that the owners who were running it earlier have given the resort on lease and for sure.. this is the worst decision and times for this resort.
We stayed at the Tiger Camp in Dhikuli in mid Nov. I have stayed in this resort earlier, about 10 years back but to my disappointment, it has really dilapidated now, in shambles and very maintened. To start with, the rooms were damp and were smelling of 'Silan'. After much ado, the staff agreed to change our rooms, we were asked to shift our luggage while they were still making the room. We reached the room and the house keeping staff were smoking beedi inside. The room smelled of tobacco. More over, after the rooms were done, the bed linen were used and stained, the seat on the pot was broken, the bathroom walls were dirty and the tv and electric kettle in the room were not working. We requested and the staff said that some things are not working. Late night, the water tank overflowed and the water seeped into our rooms. The last straw was when I asked for a bottle of water and was given used aquafina bottle. On enquiring, I was told that the allocation of fresh water bottles is two per day, post that they give RO water in bottles already used by the guests. The food here is good but the services, cleanliness and out dated broken equipment does not make it worth the money spent. An average two star hotel is much better This resort is old, dilapidated and really in need of a makeover.…
