This is the third time I'm visiting Club Mahindra Corbett in as many years
The resort is well managed and maintained. Kudos to the team at Corbett for ensuring the place doesn't fall into neglect
The river facing rooms are most desirable, especially on the first floor. Best being 2003 n 2004 (Studio n 1BR respectively) as they're the corner rooms with no hindrance to views either.
The staff is very pleasant and attentive.
The local thali they serve here is a must have. Caters for the best of Kumaoni/ Garhwali dishes. Kudos to the chefs to have kept it as authentic and yet delectable.
The only downside of every club Mahindra resort is the exorbitant charges. The food, activities, spa, Safari.. You name it. The charges are just not worth it. While the Safari etc can be outsourced to avoid paying extra, food cannot be, unless you don't mind getting your own food or going out for every meal. The food prices are just too high and unjustified!
Once you have paid enough to get the membership and pay enough annually as ASF, the tendency to fleece these very members for food and other resort activities baffles me. The food charges have exponentially and unreasonably increased since I have joined. A simple bonfire in the evening would be every travellers delight and I enjoy it every time I use Airbnb. However the charges at Club Mahindra ensured that i never bothered for the same, no matter how desirable it is.
I visited numerous club Mahindra resorts with my friends on multiple occasions. The first day they're convinced they will take a membership immediately. Soon enough they discover the charges for everything and decide it's not worth it... And justifiably so. I would not take a membership now with these prices.
I really wish Club Mahindra takes due cognisance and turns our 3/4 star experiences to 5 star experiences.

Stay here has always made an impeccable impression, especially during the current scenario, the safety measures followed here are top notch. Be it extremely clean & hygienic room or sanitizer dispenser which are installed everywhere in the property, everything here gives you the warmth and ultra luxury the moment you step in. Check in was swift, room assigned to us was amazing be it view, cleanliness, upkeep, amenities, etc. Would like to specially appreciate the efforts of Mr. Rahul, he stood out of his way and made an exceptional mark during our stay. He left no stone unturned and was at the helm of affairs throughout. Would highly recommend this resort to anyone.

Wonderful & safe stay @club Mahindra Corbett resort.we have planned long stay and it was a good decision. The staff is very friendly and took atmost good care of us. 1. We reached the resort by car. On the gate our credentials were checked by the security guards, temperature recorded, Arogya Setu App status checked, car sanitized.
2. Since we had done pre check-in through the mobile app, our arrival information was already available with the reception (the security guards must have conveyed) and our keys were ready. The same were immediately handed over when we reached the reception. Really smooth and contactless check-in
3. All staff were wearing masks
4. Sanitizers were available at the reception and restaurant.
5. The resort was clean
6. Restaurant Food was tasty and good. Mr Bharat ensured that our experience was even better
Now the negatives and reason for lowering rating
1. After check-in on reaching the room, we were shocked to find that the cutlery in the room had dried remains of last use. This raises questions about the standards of cleanliness being followed. When informed, the same were cleaned. Such events even raise questions about the tall claims about sanitization of rooms and feel that this is a serious matter
2. The the food was tasty and good, the dishes would very often be out of stock and take very long time to replenish them.
3. The restaurant timings are not being followed. For eg. the breakfast is supposed begin at 7.30 am. However, things were not ready even past 8 am. Though they offered many items by around 7.50 am, some items were not available even after 8 am.

They do not provide packaged drinking water, instead keep jugs in the room. Claim to be RO water but mine had impurities. Both AC and fan regulators at door so you have to get up and go to control them. Not a single drawer in the room, old curtains and jammed balcony doors. Bathroom do not not have hand showers, no shampoo, no kits except soap, body lotion and shower cap. Shower pressure very minimal and no hand towels too. A basic accommodation. Management plz correct me if I am wrong.
Now the best part, you are not supposed to get outside food into the resort, not even in your room. Buy from them at prices which are even higher than 5 star hotels. Eg: a plate of 8 paneer pakoras with 4 small samosas will cost around Rs. 1000 only.
If you book a safari from outside, they will not allow the vehicle to come inside to pick you from the reception. You need to walk upto the main door and board....weird.
Food taste is good as of what I have had till now and the setting of the resort is good. And that is only the reason I give them 1 rating point.
People looking for a comfortable stay, plz double check what to expect. Being a forest area it is not advisable to hang around at night outside the property so have an early dinner and return if you do not want to be extorted with unreasonable flooding charges.

We were just waiting for a nice outing for a last few days & we got an availability at Jim Corbett Resort Club Mahindra .
As we reached there, after a beautiful drive till the Resort, the main gate guards were intelligent enough to check our Pre Check-in records & did a contact less entry.
At Reception we met very very Courteous Staff for our room allotment & got a welcome drink. Resort Manager & other associated staff are always available around with an Excellent Behaviour to solve any of our Querries. Repeated Sanitisation, Shoe Sterilisation & all the area Cleaning is appreciable.
The Rooms are very Spacious, bathrooms are clean, kitchen etc. is great. The whole resort is beautiful especially lush greenery & River fun. All staff are appropriately dressed & well mannered while moving inside the Resort. One Chick in our studio apartment was Not easy to lift it up & pull down. Once we informed the Housekeeping, they mended it nicely to move up & down now. Appreciate their quick response.
The Food is really Awesome, Especially the Kumaoni Thali, which has many Sumptuous dishes. That you will only realise once you have it. Yummy!!
The Club Mahindra Member Relations team are very helpful. Very knowledgeable in giving us various options & facilities inside the Resort during our stay for sightseeing etc.

We stayed here from 8 to 12 june. Overall it was a good experience. First and foremost, the restaurant staff and housekeeping staff are very helpful, prompt and go beyond normal expectations to make the stay comfortable. Especially would like to mention chef Ashok and Himanshu, and server Rajesh, Akhilesh and others in the way they went beyond normal expectations to prepare and adjust food menu to cater to allergy related constraints. The housekeeping staff too was very prompt, especially given that our cottage was at the extreme end of resort. The cottage was river facing, and though water levels were low, the morning views were very good. Now, coming to the not so good parts. The overall infrastructure is in need of repairs, both from functional and aesthetic point of views. Taps/lights not working in swimming pool changing rooms, or chipped off doors, or squeaky/creaky drawers, these things reduce the overall perception.

Before booking we were a little sceptical about the safety issues! And then we booked finally! We got a call from club mahindra corbett and already got all the information and guidelinespecially required before coming to the resort! Then finally when we came oh what a grand welcome! At the entrance our hands and our cars was sanitsed and also our body temperature was taken. At the reception area also our luggage was sanitired and our room was also very well clean and sanitised! There were sanitisers placed every where and all the staff was maintaining the sanitisation rules very strictly. Even at the restaurant, all hygiene standards were followed! Thanks club mahindra corbett for making us feel that we are in safe hands. It was a wonderful and a very safe holiday! Would definitely visit again!

It was bit unplanned visit in a short notice. Good that we visited otherwise we would have been deprived of staying and enjoying in a lovely, hospitable resort full of scenic beauty,clean, hygienic having organic farming, serving delicious food, meaningful cinema, indoor activities and so on. All the staff are very courteous and efficient. Sumit Mallick took care of us right from checking in to showing the property around, suggesting the best food they serve and every little thing we might have needed. Club Mahindra made our stay, after being indoors for nearly a year due to the pandemic, a truly amazing experience. The safety measures were great with sanitization of all luggage items, cars, and guests being done properly. We had a lot of fun with all the amazing activities that the Happy Hub team conducted for us. From the Bollywood Dhamaka to the Tambola Night and Magic show it was loads of fun. Dance performances by the staff (Bhasker, Raghuveer, Vicky and Arun) there kept the spirits soaring. The food was amazing as always with a lavish spread during Christmas. The lovely views of the river from our room made the stay even more enjoyable. Wish we could stay longer here... Will certainly be back again.
