We spent two wonderful days at this gorgeous location. Greeted by Jack and Riley the friendly dogs and then received a warm welcome from Sue and Peter. The views were stunning and it is the perfect location to enjoy the quiet, views and ambience of the beautiful Acheron area. We had dinner in and met other guests in the shared lounge area. With so many B&B’s now giving ration packs to cook your own breakfast we were thrilled to sit back and enjoy the cooking of our hosts. We cannot recommend this place enough. For a weekend escape from Melbourne you won’t do better. We cannot wait to get back there

Spectacular views, first class accommodation and wonderful hosts. This is a terrific place to stay. A lot of thought has gone into creating a stylish and inviting environment, and attention to such details as fresh milk for hot drinks, and quality glassware for your wine add to the sense of luxurious indulgence. Sitting on the veranda, with the ranges and valley laid out in front of you, you would be hard pressed to find a more relaxing way to end your day. Go! You won’t be disappointed.

Really enjoyed the b&b. Loved the dogs and ordered dinner the night we arrived as well, so we didn’t have to leave. Sue n Pete great hosts and gave us just the right amount of attention/ private space. Enjoyable to walk around but bring your gumboots. Saw the goats and cattle and the wonderful stars at night

We had a great family overnight stay at Drom Aluinn. The accommodation was first class and my girls loved playing with the dogs and the other animals. The area had plenty to offer including the Great Victorian Rail Trail for cycling, Snobs Creek falls, Stockman's Reward horse riding, great country food at pubs and bakeries, and terrific scenery. I very enjoyable break from the city.

What an amazing experience!!! We stayed 1 night on our way up to Mansfield to see our daughter. The stunningly designed house overlooking the Cathedral Ranges looks quite new and has been delightfully fitted and furnished with a modern feel, and clean to a very high standard. Sue and Peter were extremely hospitable hosts looking after our every need. We ate dinner there as well as breakfast in the morning, and Sues cooking was incredible - home cooked style at restaurant quality!!! Being chocolate lovers we also really appreciated some of the little things they did like the M&M's beside the coffee machine in the dining room and the complimentary chocolate bar in the bar fridge. Could not recommend this place highly enough, it was fabulous!!!
