Our stay at Bob’s place was really pleasant. Despite being off-season we were not deprived of anything. Suite was really impeccable, linen was clean and sitting area was well arranged. No match for valley view and sunset watching sitting in front of your room sipping evening tea. Special thanks to the staff, Mr. Kishan, Umesh, Mahesh and the marvellous chef who will surprise you everyday with variety of food from continental to Chinese to South Indian. Young man Mr. Umesh needs extra pat as he is always ready to help and always answer in affirmative—property is at a peaceful location which makes your stay even more satisfying. Dinning hall is cosy and aesthetically decorated which can be you place to spend time in chit-chatting before and after meals. Humble suggestion: In some windows, curtain length can be increased to cover the glass properly. Would love to visit again ... kudos to Bob’s Place

It's a beautiful place surrounded with dence forest and fruit orchids, very close to nathuakhan market. Had everything for a family to spend quality time close to nature and forget city life, have beautiful nature walks and eat fresh food. We were there for 6 days in the 1st week of June 22. We felt it was a less time, we didn't realize when our trip came to end! We could easily spend at least a month there but Alas! One has to come back to home though we had no intention or desire to leave such beautiful place. Resort is also well kept so tastefully built keeping important things and privacy of each guest in mind.
Just one thing breakfast options can be made better though staff is so nice that they didn't say no to anything at all. They tried fulfilling all the needs of guests within their reach.
Important point - this place is not for people who want contact activity or places to see around or looking for excitement in life. Rather this place is for people who want a break from city life, want to take a pause, reflect, soak in nature, east fresh food and fruits, sleep, walk and walk and walk.....!

Checked in @ Bob’s Place on the 14th evening along with my wife & teenage daughter. Enjoyed the first three nights of warm & caring hospitality with delicious meals, the best masala chai, pakoras, bread pakoras, & samosas with our evening tea. Heavens broke loose on the 4th day with incessant rain for the next 48 hours. The service, the food, the caring did not falter @ Bob’s Place. We were being taken care of with the same enthusiasm & attention. All the staff members especially Mr. Kishen & Mr. Harish took extremely good care and made sure that we were as comfortable as before the downpour. We were in a state of lockdown as all roads leading out of Uttrakhand to Delhi were blocked with landslides.We had no choice but to spend another day beyond our reservation. And this is the most generous gesture, I have ever come across anywhere- “ For our extended night stay, we were not charged for either the food or room-it was made complimentary”.How many resorts would do that? Great place to be in.Will positively recommend Bob’s Place to family & friends.

I travelled to this place alongwith my friend in Nov, it was a delight to spend 3 days in the lap of nature surrounded by all comforts one can think of in the hills. This place has a billiards/pool table ,can you believe that!!!!....nestled in the quaint village of Nathuakhan, if one is looking at a peaceful getaway, a home away from home, then this is a must visit. Bob is a generous host n so are his staff members.The only dampener to this trip was the non veg meal that was served to a staunch vegetarian like me, however I hope they will work on this. Bob and his staff apologized for the blunder. Bob and his property caretaker were very prompt and responsive and the reservation process n check out were effortless

Staying at avenida was no less than a delight, it's a beautiful property. The owners have made this property with a great taste, each element reflects style and class. The manager Mr. Kamal Bisht was always available and made sure that the stay was as comfortable as it could be. The service team Sushil,Satish,Mahesh,Suresh were very helpful and took good care of us. The kitchen team Mahender, Girish suresh, they all made amazing food, we never had to step out of this property for anything and lastly the housekeeping staff pankaj, maya and shanti they all made sure the rooms were kept clean. I would love to stay again here purely because of the hospitality and comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful time at Bob's Place. Its a little gem of a place tucked in the hills. We stayed there for almost a week. The staff here was extra courteous and super helpful. Even in the middle of Covid scenario the staff ensured all the best of services to us. Food was really tasty - simple and healthy. There are little treks and hikes around to explore and enjoy. A real stress buster and place to recoup and gain back peace of mind.
The place is about 40 odd Kms away from hustle-bustle of Nainital and provides a succor to weary and stressed souls...a must visit. ~ Neha and Abhilash

A very beautiful place ,a must visit for nature lovers.It's located in the outskirts of mukhteshwar . The hospitality is commendable . The interior,rooms of the property will give you old heritage type vibes . A place to chill ,relax and enjoy nature to the core. The place is in isolation and close to river, a 10-12 min car drive and after that a 10 minutes walk and you will reach there.You can also have your breakfast close to riverside,just inform them and they will take care of everything. Overall if you want to disconnect from the outside world and rejuvenate,this is the place :)

After 18 months of no traveling, we as a group of friends were looking for a quiet, clean place with great views. Glad we found Bob's Place. The rooms are apart from each other with great views of Kumaon range. There are a lot of open spaces, 2 tastefully done lounges, and an activity room with facilities like Table Tennis, Pool Table, board games etc. There is a trekking path close to the hotel which takes you to a beautiful stream. The service is excellent supported by a very genuine and hardworking staff, and the food is great too. Highly recommend property, if you are looking for an offbeat holiday. Believe me, you won't feel the need to go out of the property to explore!

Recommending all kind of travellers, whether you travelling solo, with family or with friends. A peaceful and calm stay at Nathuakhan .
Kishen ji and the staff at Bob’s place is very courteous and accommodating. They made us feel at home.
The suite cottage was very spacious and comfortable. The amenities are clean. This particular cottage is accessible for elderly travellers amongst other cottage options.
I am going to be a regular visitor here.
P.S. - it’s a pet friendly stay !

Nested in the midst of nature, warm cosy cottages, beautiful scenic views, good service and great hosts. What more can you ask for...just to get back there again.
My first visit but surely more to follow. Bob's place is a delight if you're looking for a 'pause and relax' kind of a break in this beautiful self sufficient abode.
Bob and Punam make for excellent hosts and we would love to get back during the blossom season to see their place in full bloom. If you love nature, want a real getaway, in a quiet pretty place, Bobs is where your search should start and stop.
