We stayed here in December, and would definitely return again. Each of the cabins is tastefully decorated in a casual beach side way, and very comfortable. As some of the cabins are dog-friendly, we were able to bring our little shitzu with us which was a great plus. The lawns stretching down to the water edge were a great place...

Enjoyed a relaxing few days at Sea Shanties. Self-contained cabins are tastefully done in what has already been described here as "Nautical Chic" - which is apt. Sitting out watching the sunsets over the water is something special.

We visited Sea Shanties in October. The location and accomodation were lovely. I was travelling alone with my young son and no car. I would not recommend this as the buses are infrequent and I encountered a particularly bitter driver one day who I had to travel in the bus alone with. Despite calling ahead to ensure I would easily...

Stayed here last week and my daughter and i loved it. We stayed in cabin 2 which is just behind oceanview cabin 1. Cabin 2 has an ocean view from the kitchen sink so doing dishes is not so bad lol. No aircon in the cabin but sea breezes did their job so it was very comfortable even for January....

This is a relaxed, humble, but very well equipped and comfy spot on a gorgeous fishing village right next to some of the most stunning beaches on the planet. The owners are only too keen to ensure that all of the visitors find a way to really unwind and soak up the beautiful breeze. On the first night we caught...

Had a great week here in a fully self contained cabin at the waters edge. The beauty is my wife and I were able to take our dog, which was welcomed by our hosts Lisa and Darrell.. The cabin set up was ideal and very comfortable with everything we needed., even a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. Local general shop and...

This must be the first time in my life that the actual experience exceeded my expectations. Lisa and Darryl are superb hosts that love looking after people. The cabins are delightful and spotless, a pleasure to stay in. We had dolphins visit us every day in front of our cabin. There were koalas in the trees. The outdoor kitchen area...

Was lovely but disappointed with owners calling to blame flaw in their cabin on us. Apart from that which i would have been quite happy to recommend but they certainly spoiled it by making such an accusation. A little pricey but good location though we did see better ones and will definately be checking them out. Two stars for good...

Good morning Liz. Thanks for taking the time to offer your review. I am sorry you felt my phone call was an accusation, this was not the intention. Lisa and Darrell

A visit to Sea Shan\ties is a step back in time... with new bathrooms! The site is smaller than I had expected, with about 7 cabins fairly close together, but there are big communal kitchen and sitting room areas (where the wifi is, not in cabins), and a wide grassy area at the sea front. Cars are parked at the...
