My stay at this resort in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, was truly remarkable. The location was pristine, offering breathtaking views that makes it the best resort in Kangra. The staff, well-trained and accommodating, made every aspect of my visit seamless and enjoyable. From the initial booking process to check-in and check-out, their professionalism shone through.
Special Thanks to Mr Karan, Mr Surjit, Mr. Vivek and Mr Prince. The entire staff is very warm and welcoming. They prepared Gajar Halwa for us which was really fresh. Chef also prepared special meals without onion and garlic considering day of fasting. We really enjoyed the high tea and the meals. Thanks to the staff for providing bed tea for my parents and hand beaten coffee at breakfast. The hospitality surpassed my expectations, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The culinary experience was a delight – the food was not only delicious but also a testament to the chef's skill. We stayed at this property for 2 nights. The resort stands true to its name "Birdsong Chalets" as you get to hear constant chirping of birds throughout the day. It is situated around 10 kms away from main Dharamshala city and the entire surrounding is serene giving you a village stay like experience. Rooms are made in local style with mud exteriors and slate roofs. View of Dhauladhar mountain range from the property is amazing. There's a swimming pool as well. Each of the staff members is extremely polite, welcoming, friendly and they never say "No" to anything. Special mention of Satish, Prince from Front Office, Karan in the restaurant. Food was was very tasty and cooked homestyle. Through they have a well defined menu, yet they go beyond if the guest has any special demands. They also arranged sight seeing tour for us which was excellent. Thanks to the property manager Mr. Vivek Sharma, Chef Soni Bhatt and the entire team of Birdsong Chalets for making our stay so memorable. Will highly recommend this place if you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of city life and want peace. The property is pet friendly and also has a very friendly pet dog named Pepsi within the premises.

It's always a relaxing staycation experience at Tree of life resorts. The Dharamshala property was no less, with a scrumptious breakfast spread along with a customised dinner plan. The chalets are an absolute delight, family friendly and very cozy spaces to spend time indoors.
We visited in the month of June, expecting some respite from the heat but the temperatures were high & soaring. Thus, the mudhouse was a big relief as the interiors protect you from the heat and regulate the temperatures throughout. The in-house swimming pool and the open garden space makes it a good fun option for your kids & furry friends to travel along.
The property manager Mr. Vivek nd his team were always available to ensure a fuzz free stay, and even assisted us in planning our sightseeing itinerary with better navigation to avoid traffic routes. He is the person to go to for all your special event requests - romantic dinner, proposal ideas or just barbeque with friends.
A special mention for Mr. Sanjeev (F&B head) and Karan (room service) for their back and forth service and amazing starters. Ask for their tossed salad- fresh & juicy with some magical dressing.
Only thing lacking was a direct mountain view as the development in the valley has led to many establishments around, making it difficult to get a clear view of the snow capped hills.

Overall a good experience, serene, clean, and hospitable staff.
The only blemish was the check in - We were surprised that the front desk did not have our headcount and we were embarrassed to prove our point. After the initial melee, we were allotted rooms that were stand alone, though we had paid up for an upgrade for premier rooms reportedly with "Balcony with a view!". We were left with a feeling of being let down as we sat on the portico of our rooms viewing those premier rooms facing us, occupied and bustling. Common sense led us to assume (read feel) that the rooms we booked were sold to the more fortunate, while we, the peace loving lot gulped it with a lump in the throat. The Cramping that the Krishnan's quartet faced was claustrophobia, fortunately they were a loving family.
Moral: Next time you book, Take it in writing with preferably a photo of the room from outside and inside.
That said, the stay was pleasant so were the nature of the housekeeping and restaurant staff, specially Karan Thakur - true to his name he was a selfless giver. The Housekeeping staff were receptive to requests, the linen crispy and the gadgets efficient. Special thanks to the restaurant staff to have come up quickly with a small cake for a birthday girl in our group when they got to know - that's a feel good of sorts.

We descended on the hotel all as once, a group taking all their available rooms - Satish and the front of house team ensured all rooms ready. The manager and restaurant team could not do enough for us, from early breakfasts pre cricket to cakes for birthdays. Always ready to provide drinks and snacks across the day. A pleasure to stay at their accommodation. Not forgetting Pepsi the resident dog who welcomed us back each day.

Great location, quaint complex amidst right in heart of Kangra, beautiful decor with Himalayan theme nature friendly, amazing guiding & supportive staff, loved the food, Chef is master class with authentic pahadi food and mutton he cooked, and Trout tandori style was yum! can still relish the taste. More over astounding view of DhaulaDhar ranges shall add aroma to your coffee, suggest enjoy the "pool area Deck" to enjoy view.

A true little gem of a hotel. Warm, friendly welcoming staff are all exceptional and excellent. Cooking to demand, dealing with urgent requests for help and support, sorting out travel issues, solving all sorts of potential problems - nothing is too much trouble for staff and for management. Nicely apppointed rooms located in a quiet, communal setting make it the ideal choice for solo travellers like me, touring groups and couples alike. Could not recommend it highly enough, will definately be going back!

This is a lovely hotel set in beautiful gardens with a swimming pool. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed, rustic and charming. The food was excellent and varied - something different every day of the week we were there. However, it was the staff who were the real stars, they all went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. They also provided a cake to celebrate World Women's Day and arranged a cookery demonstration for us on the lawn. It was wonderful - thank you all.

A very relaxing stay in an extremely charming and beautifully set accommodation. The chalet was spotless and very comfortable and the staff could not have been more helpful. Felt like a cousin's farmhouse in the hills. The staff is excellent, they take care of all your personalized needs, also prepare the food according to your liking even for the buffet. One of the nicest stays I have ever spent time in. Staff would leave a smile on your face everytime you interact. The hotel also arranges a nature walk for you. The welcome you with himachali cap and part you with smiling buddhas. The GM of the hotel is such a well spoken guy, even the Restaurant manager Mr Sanjeet, Mr Karan all of them took good care of us. Also hotel's pet dog Pepsi is such a character, he would accompany us on our morning tea. Rooms are spacious, neat and clean. You get amazing view of snow covered Dhanaluti range from the pool deck
