Travellers' Choice
Atali Ganga, Rishikesh is possibly north India's most exciting active holiday destination. Located near Atali Dogi in the valley of the Upper Ganges, guests can expect a fun filled weekend. Choose to go mountain biking, try out our excellent High Ropes course, wall climbing, abseil, hike, camp, inflatable kayak, raft, learn the "Eskimo roll" in our pool before taking on the river. Sip sundowners after a long day outdoors, and dine under the stars. Surrounded by reserved forest on all sides, Atali is nestled away from the crowded strip downstream, and will be a great option for a quick getaway for the discerning traveller. The USP of Atali, Ganga is also the spanking new High Ropes Course, one of the fastest growing outdoor and team building activities. It will challenge you, inspire you, and at times, humble you. Come, check in! Caution : We are spread over a hillside ( travelling with infants or elderly will need to walk to their cottages) ; we have no TV in the rooms

Good parts: property location is excellent, rooms are very comfortable and the staff is very hospitable. The trouble is that considering now there are no activities permitted, there is very little to do in terms of activities around. For a resort that claims to be an "active holiday destination" there are a couple of hikes available which can be done in an hour or so and some okayish climbing facilities. The guides are not really naturalists so their goal is to strictly get from beginning to end. The food is standard multi-cuisine food which is unfortunate given the pahadi cuisine is so rich.

Atali Ganga is all about heart. Founded and run by passionate adventurists and river champs - the place oozes warmth, young energy, ingenuity, honesty, attention to detail - in the lap of nature. The whole property is nestled in a lush hill facing a tall mountain and a gushing Ganga, tucked away from the the busy Rishikesh. Fantastic beach a walk away. Service is prompt, friendly, genuine. Food is flavourful, fresh and varying. Activities inclusive in the price is a bonus. Amazing spot with friends, with families - lots of common areas with solid views. Thanks to HP, Sunita, Sanjay, Badri ++ everyone. Looking forward to trip no.2 and more activities.

We travelled with few friends to Rishikesh recently and stayed for a couple of nights at Atali Ganga. Our experience on the overall stay was way above our expectations in all aspects. The entire team is great, very warm and affectionate. Food was excellent and we enjoyed each and every meal. The location of the property is superb, located on a hill with each cottage offering ample privacy and good views of nature. Our holy Ganga river just flows below the resort. We just stayed here for two nights, but left with a whole lot of memories. Will surely come back someday. Kudos to entire team of Atali Ganga led by HP. Keep it up Guys !!

Me and my husband stayed at Atali Ganga for 3 nights and it was surreal. We totally enjoyed the property because of the warm hospitality and spectacular surroundings. We had our cottage almost 300 stairs above which was a bit of a task to get to the room to be honest, but it gave us utmost privacy and the serenity and views we were looking for. Each cottage has a private balcony and 3 sides glass windows which makes it ideal specially given the current Covid situation. Even the restaurant follows strict Covid guidelines and the meals are served by staff and wearing masks is a must. All the meals are tastefully prepared with enough variety of Indian food as well as a few items in Chinese / Italian. I especially enjoyed the evening popcorn and snacks which they served with the

This was our first visit to the property. Even before the stay began, I received a call from the management asking for any special requirements. On arrival at the resort, the first thing that catches the eye is the breathtaking view of the mountains and Ganges. They offer independent cottages with sit out space carved on the hill. The view from my bed with the Ganges and lush green hills with the top obscured by the clouds is stunning. The sound of rain falling on the roof amidst cooing of birds was very refreshing. The cottage was cozy and tastefully decorated keeping nature in mind. In the evening we were taken to a nearby Beach. No words are enough to translate the experience of dipping our feet in the Ganges while sipping a cup of kesar tea offered by the hotel staff with

This was our 3rd visit to the property in Oct 2020. Mangement was careful with sanitization and room hygiene. What was great as usual: Room Cleanliness OutDoor Activites at the hill-top totally managed by Sunita, Mr Dhruv, Mr JP and their awesome, very careful and highly experienced team. Their team managing activities and Kayaking by Aquaterra is simply great. Very high quality in terms of raft quality, keeping their customers safe , never overloading a raft, always have the pilot in place, very very experienced and physically and mentally strong people , the right professionals to go kayaking and rafting with. Evening Tea and snacks at the Ganga river beach are something one would always look forward to, we used to wait for that :)) We always request rooms from where we

Atali Ganga had various amazing, fun filled activities set against the backdrop of a beautiful mountainous landscape. The white water rafting, for us, was especially outstanding. Pankaj, our guide, led us in thrilling rapids, as well as fun and loud chants. During white water rafting, we felt extremely safe: we were all made to wear life jackets, and there were safety kayakers with us, too. To do white water rafting, however, one had to be fourteen or more years old. We also enjoyed the challenging high ropes course, and rock climbing – which both took place in the grounds of the resort. As for food, it was very nice. Lunches, dinners, snacks and breakfasts offered vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Moreover, the staff at Atali Ganga were spectacular. Everyone was very
