Where do i start.... This was quite possibly the worst hotel and experience I have ever had. We booked 6 nights and last 2. Tiny rooms with very poor cleaning. Black bathrooms?!?! Very worrying when the rooms werent being cleaned. Clueless, inexperienced & at times rude staff and management. For a supposed 5 star hotel the general finish is appalling. Very very poor organisation in the restaurants. Do not be fooled by the 5 star rating and lovely photos online. In reality it is like Fawlty towers. I could go on and on and on about how bad our experience was. We stayed in June 22 and it has taken us 5 months to get over it!!! Avoid at all costs.

Hotel's Favourite
What a wonderful new hotel. We stayed here middle October 2021 and cannot rave enough about this hotel. It’s a brand new refurbishment and an incredible amount of thought and design has gone into this hotel. The staff at this hotel are all exceptional; every single one of them. I have never been to a hotel where the customer service was so good and all the staff so helpful and genuinely friendly. The resort is very small with basically only the hotel and a small apartment complex in this bay so the hotel basically has its own private beach, one of the nicest beaches on the island too! The hotel is large enough to have a wide range of facilities (including a kids club for younger children), but small enough to be intimate. If you’re after lots of local bars, cheap tacky shops etc then this is not the resort for you. There was live music most evenings (but no cringeworthy tribute acts or karaoke). There’s two independent beach restaurants that was closed this time of year, probably because of the pandemic, but I reckon would be open next summer and an excellent array of watersports and boat excursions available at reasonable prices (independent from the hotel). The hotel has plenty of sunloungers both around the pool and on the beach, with an excellent beach side bar and restaurant, serving very tasty food (generous servings) and top class waiter service. The buffet meals were fantastic in the main restaurant and we ate one night at Topos the seafood restaurant by the beach. We had a dine around package which allowed us to eat there at no extra cost, but even if you had to pay was still reasonably priced and a lovely setting right on the beach watching the sunset. The west facing aspect of this hotel is its secret weapon in my opinion. The sunsets are just incredible. We had a sapphire (ocean facing) room so was able to sit out on our balcony for the view, but the hotel has a fantastic terrace allowing everyone access to this incredible view. The rooms aren’t massive, but very well appointed and we didn’t soend that much time in them anyway (mostly any time in the room was spent on the balcony looking at the ocean!). The beds are large and extremely comfortable. The hotel runs a complimentary shuttle bus to corfu old town, which is a great touch and you can arrange car rental from the hotel, which we did one day when the weather forecast was less favorable. Having explored most of the island that day, I can categorically confirm that this hotel has the very best spot on the island! The western aspect means it’s less likely to rain late in the season and the natural scenery around it was breathtaking. We went for hikes every morning before breakfast up to the nearest little village on top of the hill and around the surrounding trails. If you’re less adventurous (we used a combination of Google maps and All Trails maps to forge our way) then the hotel can arrange guided walks. Well done to an excellent first season, we cannot recommend this hotel enough

A beautiful hotel right on a wonderful beach. Perfect for a relaxing holiday if lazing by the pool or seafront is what you enjoy. Amazing food! The only thing we were disappointed with was the view from our room. It overlooked a car park and a loud humming noise, possibly from a generator, was constant which was very annoying and prevented us from using the balcony. The views from sea facing rooms are absolutely stunning so it really is worth booking early to try to get one of these. Unfortunately we were unable to change rooms as the hotel was fully booked.

Dear Chris R, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It is of great pleasure that you loved our hotel’s location; indeed, Glyfada beach is astonishing. We are glad that you appreciated the multiple gastronomic choices; our goal is to satisfy every possible food preference, and we believe that this is achieved to a large extent. It is frustrating for us to read though that you didn’t enjoy your stay entirely, because of this inconvenience that occurred. We truly hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again as our guests for an ameliorated experience. Best regards, The Domes of Corfu, Autograph Collection team

A triumph of style over substance. The service was appalling and what was meant to be a real treat for my family turned out to be a complete waste of money. I would never return even if I was offered a free stay.

From the outset the staff here were excellent. A relaxed and personal check in having been met from the taxi by front of house staff set the tone. I loved the slightly quirky layout with floors stepped up and down from reception on floor 3 and main restaurants on two with bedooms above and below. My wife was not so keen. The fact you can step down from the pool direct to a gently shelving sandy beach with private loungers and parasols was a definite plus. The sea in October was warmer than the pool. The food was also very good. One of the best buffet style offerings I've had in the Med but the wines offered were not exactly cheap with a glass of house starting at 7.5euros and my favourite rose at 11.50 euros a glass. Also good was the twice daily free shuttle bus to Corfu town. This hotel is quite isolated with not a lot to do around it so if you are after buzzing nightlife I'd avoid this place. Now the big downside. Wasps. You couldn't really eat outside in peace without them buzzing around you and bombing your food. They weren't really aggressive but were very annoying. The only other downside was that I'm not a great fan of black sanitary ware in bathrooms as it is hard to see what is clean. This was a win for style over function Would I return? In a flash if the wasp problem solved and white bathroom fittings installed.

We set out to find a relaxing, laid-back trip to rest and recharge our batteries from a busy life in London. Domes was above and beyond what we could have hoped for. The hotel is stunningly designed, with attention to detail and a sense of sophisticated serenity oozing from every corner. Put simply, it basically looks (and smells) like Zara home, so, if that’s your thing, you’ll love it. The location is sublime. Nestled between the mountain and the sea, next to a tiny village. The sun sets over your dinner table every night. We attended a few of the complimentary sunrise yoga classes, enjoyed the unspoilt beach (even dabbled in the secluded nudist corner about a 10 minute walk away!). We found the food delicious, a gorgeous selection of fish, meats and veggies. Fresh and yummy. All in all, the perfect trip.

We have really enjoyed our stay at Domes of Corfu. Our family room had a fabulous sea view and everything we needed. The pool and beach are great. One of the best things about this hotel is the team working here! Too many to mention everyone but - Julie-Ann at the pool is fantastic and a real credit to the hotel. Anna-Maria and Tatiana at the children’s club are so lovely and really look after your little ones. In the restaurant we have met many friendly and helpful team members. My son labelled the lovely housekeeping lady with short hair as the ‘chocolate fairy’ because she always brought him chocolates in our room! Generally as a family friendly hotel, we have had a good experience with our 3 year old. Whilst the hotel is newly refurbished, it’s comfortable and robust enough not to worry all the time that your children are touching something or running around too much - as a parent of small children this makes for a more relaxing holiday! The children’s club and the face painting at dinner are entertaining for smaller children and gave us a much needed break a few times during our two week stay. The hotel isn’t perfect but any issues are resolved quickly and without a fuss. Overall a really good holiday and relaxing break was had by us all!

My wife and I visited this hotel in October 2022. We arrived with a degree of trepidation having read very mixed reports on Trip Advisor but we needn't have worried. This hotel /resort is excellent. Our room, which was on the 1st floor overlooking the pool, beach and sea, was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need as well as a small balcony. It was extremely clean and even had a bottle of hand sanitizer and a gadget for dealing with mosquitoes. There are three restaurants on site with the main one, the Agora. being where the half board (breakfast and evening meal) option was based. A lot has been written about the food but we found the choices excellent and varied. there was always a carvery roast which changed between lamb beef and pork. There was also a grill where on different nights you could have had whole sea bream, sea bass fillets, pork skewers and on our last night T-bone steaks. How anyone could complain about this is beyond me. If you chose to you could also opt for Frourio, an Italian restaurant, or Topos, a seafood one with an allowance of 15 Euros per head. we went one night to each and both were excellent. As has already been said, the hotel is new and has very good furnishings with numerous quiet seating areas. We found all the staff, the receptionists, the waiters and waitresses, the cleaners, the bedroom attendants, the pool attendants very professional and all carried out their various tasks with smiles on their faces. this is in sharp contrast to other establishments who seem to think that it's you who are doing them a favour. Nothing was too much trouble . We ran out of pods for the nespresso machine. A phone call to reception and the problem was sorted. The hotel organises a free wine tasting which we thought was very informative and is highly recommended. There is also a free shuttle bus twice a day to Corfu town which is handy when the weather turns inclement which it did on one of the days we were there. I'll end this post by complimenting my fellow guests. It was very much a families and couples resort and everybody was very polite and the children very well behaved. In this day and age it was nice to see

The hotel is new, clean and very stylish and the staff is very attentive, polite and I was positively surprised how kid friendly the staff and the whole hotel is. If you are a solo or couple travellers then don't be discouraged by the "family friendly" sign because the hotel offers a tranquil stay for non parents as well as it has an adults only pool area and the overall hotel area is so big that it never felt too loud because of children running around. Car rental through the hotel concierge service was made super-easy - I just had to choose the car I wished to have and the car rental company brought the car to the hotel. The hotel offers a complimentary bus service to Corfu Town and we used it twice to go sightseeing - this was a very comfortable service because if going to town with the rental car it was difficult to find a parking spot, but with the bus you just hop on and then hop off. I highly recommend this resort if you wish to have a relaxing beach holiday with your partner or with the family.

This hotel is in a fantastic spot. Right on the beach which, although public, feels very much like the hotel's own private space. Beach and pool have ample sun loungers and never felt crowded. Main pool is lovely and was never too busy. ( We like that there is no music blaring!) Agree with some previous comments that rooms can feel dark and a bit gloomy but, to be honest, we spent so little time in ours that it wasn't really an issue. We did have one day ( and not a strike day) that the room was never serviced, although correct lights on, and also found that room wasn't always topped up ( but we just got the toilet roll/tissues we needed from one of the trolleys) We found the buffet to be excellent and, although we had intended to try one of the other restaurants, we all enjoyed the changing, large selection at the buffet so much that we stayed there! Regular bus stop is just outside the hotel so we used that service easily for transport to/from Corfu town. We had access to the haute living lounge which was such a bonus. A lovely lounge and courtyard with help yourself drinks and snacks. Always spotless and quiet. However, we did notice on several occasions, hotel guests making use of this facility without using the 'official' door but instead accessing via the emergency exits from either the bar or the foyer adjacent to the courtyard - often taking drinks back to the bar area or heading back to their rooms. Perhaps this is something that the hotel needs to address. Last, but definitely not least , the staff are the stand out gems of this hotel. Invariably pleasant and helpful. Only problem was that name badges are so small that it was almost impossible to read them. If you're going to have your staff wear badges, please make they're names bigger!! But, hoping we've got names correct, special thanks to breakfast and buffet staff Panos - always a welcoming smile as he served the coffee or wine. Konstanina - so cheerful and pleasant And the absolute star that is Dimitra....she remembers so many guests and greets them so personally. Works incredibly hard and efficiently. The best way to start the day is with a cheerful"kalimera' and a welcoming smile from her as you go for breakfast. So, almost a 5 star review, 4.5 would have been more accurate and just those couple of tiny hitches that stopped it being perfect. Would highly recommend. Top floor sea view with Haute living access if you can.
