The hotel provided great service. Out thanks to Andrea Salcedo. I would not recommend the restaurant. The beach is fantastic across the street. It is close to the airport and the strip provides options to eat and buy souvenirs. My only draw back is the area becomes a bit sketchy at night, just need to be aware of your surroundings.
The first room we were in was too small and the air conditioner was very loud. We could hardly sleep and the beds are full sized not queen sized. I ask three people could I change my room. I kept getting the run around, finally I found someone who could help. I paid a good bit of money to upgrade my room. We only had room service one time in the seven days we stayed there. I asked for service and the receptionist told me they give priority to people who stay there over three days. I BOOKED THERE SEVEN DAYS 🤬. I had to ask for towels everyday, if you are not going to clean the rooms, at least put clean towels in the room. This COVID bull about not cleaning rooms is BS. Do not buy the breakfast buffet. Just order off the menu and save some bucks. We will not stay there again.
This hotel is very beautiful and they have everything you need to feel like ur home and the beach is not too far The rooms are great and very cozy the beds are extremely comfortable And the people and the service are is great I would love to come back on it back again it was a great family experience with everything that you need close by I would suggest this hotel to everyone I know
Well not much to say about Hotel, small rooms but with all the ocomendation possible, good parking, small pool, but Isla verde San Juan area, has two restaurants in the lobby area, well located. Rooms are small, two twin beds, and very small bathroom, small fridge and small microwave, everything small...
Love this place. Very clean and well maintained. The pool area was nice. The hotel is in a great location just across the street from the beach. They provided towels for us. The lobby was nice and the buffet was good.
My family and I stayed only for the night but we enjoyed it. Check in was a breeze. I paid $8 to park my rental van on the property which was not an issue. The beach is a 2 minute walk across the property. Although we did not try it, there is a restaurant and bar on the property. We would definitely come back again next time.
We had such a wonderful stay at TRYP! They accommodated us on short notice and check in with Andreina was a breeze. It was so nice that we were able to stow luggage and relax by the pool until our room was ready. The room was well decorated and clean, and the view of the ocean from our balcony was such a treat! Super accessible walk to the beach and drive to and from the airport. Highly recommend staying here — thank you Andreina and the rest of the staff for making our stay so fabulous!
Stayed here for a family trip, overall Tryp was great. Very clean, staff very helpful and courteous. Parking and laundry on premises for a fee. Standard rooms are very small, if staying with friends or another family I would def size up in room size. Great 8 minute walk to Isla Verde Beach. Pool on premises very clean. All in all, wonderful experience. Would def stay again.
My family and I travel often. To be fully transparent I would say we are able to afford hotel and resorts on the higher end of things. We spend nearly $4k on a week here at the Tryp in PR. Overall it was lackluster. The lobby is much nicer than the rooms. The lobby itself is immaculate which gives the impression of how the room would be. There are 2 or 3 casually dressed security guards that walk up and down the lobby making you feel constantly watched. There were times when my family would be waiting for us to change or use the restroom and the security would pop in and out of our space very frequently. Definitely trick photography is used when advertising the rooms because it is much smaller than it looked. Upon entering our bathroom, a large green dried booger dorned the wall beneath the light switch. Awesome start. Our room backs up to a high way so no sleeping in. If you are able to sleep in, the noisey housekeeping staff will wake you up before the traffic does. Our room also does have a balcony but you are not able to access it because the windows are sealed shut. There is a lot of impractical furniture packed into a small room. Two large footstools placed beneath a shelf that is less than a foot in width (so if you were to put your laptop on it, the computer would hang off the edge) a large long desk is placed vertically in the room as well as if to create an illusion of a room divider. There is no full size dresser but instead a night stand sized dresser placed in the closet with a large safe placed on top. Older furniture, impractical chairs, questionable colored rugs which always to me is a sign of hiding dirt and stains. Breakfast is available but at an independent restaurant within the hotel which was also not impressive. Mostly consisted of picked through fruit, store bought pastries and cereal with a shared half gallon of milk. The eggs looked freshly scrambled though. All in all I would not recommend this hotel to my friends and family because there are plenty of options here and Tryp just did not meet our expectations with the amount of money we spent.…
Great location. Great service. Extra clean. Fast check in and check out. Great parking. Love the breakfast and Faccio!!! Bedrooms are comfortable, BATHROOMS are very clean and beautiful. And the pool is awesome. The bar is very nice.
