: Trikaya Retreat is a camp site for the hard core nature lovers who would like to take a day or two off from the daily rigours of life and surrender to the lure of forest life. The property is bounded on the west side by the imposing Shirota forest; the Kundalik river flows due east and empties itself into the Kundalik dam downstream. We have tents used for camping for the stay.
Property is beautiful, however the food is very poor.
Given the cost of the cottages and positioned as a premium niche property the food doesn't do justice at all
No varieties and quality of food is not upto the mark. Definitely needs to get that sorted.
Also food service should be available in rooms , when you pay an expensive amount for your stay you would like to sit and enjoy a peaceful meal at your comfort in your cottage with that stunning view
The canteen area is not sufficient to hold everyone during a packed weekend

We had been here last Sunday. Trikaya is a wonderful property atop a hill. If you are looking for great stay in the lap of naure, this is the place. Pros : Wonderful location, neatly maintained, courteous staff, nice bungalow (Yuhvi) and hassle-free booking. We had ordered the birthday cake that was so fresh and delicious. Cons : Not suitable for senior citizens as the place is very rustic and hilly No room service at all. Everytime you have to walk down to the restaurant Food was very spicy with average taste No internet and phone connectivity [problem in case of emergenices] They do not provide for anything extra. For eg : if yo want to celebrate a birthday, you have to carry all the decoration material with you, unlike other resorts.

This is a collection of different villas where you can rent a room or full villa depending on the number of guests. Spacious rooms and nice weather made this a good break with family. The caretaker can arrange for a morning trek to nearly hilltop (not an easy trek) and also nearby dam & sunset point. Evening barbeque is very nice in the open lawn. Food is simple & limited. There is no TV, Wi fi or Mobile network (except jio) so you will be literally cut off. But a good option to relax away from the city pace

Had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. We, a family of three stayed at Yahvi cottage in the first week of September 2022 and had truly amazing time enjoying the spectacular views.
Booking was hassle free and the owner - Archana Pillai was kind enough to answer all our queries with regards to the property.
Very often it’s seen that property pics on social media / website are presented in a glitzy way as compared to reality. However, Trikaya Retreat is exactly how it’s seen in pics……serene, sublime and full of life.
The cleanliness was spot on, cottage was well maintained and the food though simple was indeed delicious having distinct aroma and flavours. It was freshly cooked, made as per our taste and served piping hot.
Special thanks to Dhondiba for taking care of our stay and chef Ramesh for serving us scrumptious grub and making our stay memorable.
Will definitely be visiting this property again to make pleasant memories!

Please don’t go by the pictures on website. The place is damp. Smells really bad because of the dampness. The tub inside the room is full of mosquitoes. The food is served like college canteen, even that food was good but food here sucks big time. The food is served at a common canteen where u have to walk all the way rain or shine. Bad for old people or people with kids. Please don’t plan ur holiday here. It’s run by staff who has no idea what to do.

We went to Trikaya Retreat last week of January, the property is very beautiful and well maintained. Everyone over there were very helpful, especially the chef. This guy always had a smile on face and did all the cooking with super dedication. Overall experience was really amazing, even looking for another visit soon.

This is one of the finest boutique retreats that I have visited. Great Place, Very Scenic, and full of trees and greenery. Very rustic restaurant and differently themed Independent Villas with good rooms in the midst of nature. The swimming pool is very clean and the delicious home style food. Overall, a very nice place away from hectic life. Good place to relax and rejuvenate

We had a great family vacation this Diwali. Trek, swimming pool and temple visit were really good activities. We enjoyed walking together in the forest as kids could explore so many new things. We could spend some good quality time together. Kids enjoyed the food and swimming pool the most. I would recommend Trikaya retreat for family outing together with good quality time. The views are amazing and climate is really good.
