Fantastic place to be one with nature and yourself. Bhadra river meanders right along the river property which is set amidst a coffee plantation. location scores a perfect 5/5. Hosts were equally courteous and the food was great with local cuisines included . plantation walk and riverside walk are enjoyable .great for family stay but i recommend a 2 day stay to savour the delight of lazing around in a cozy place like this!

Shanti means Peace and this place is all about just hearing the sounds of nature in the lap of luxury…. What stands out is the cleanliness and the courteous smiling staff… located on the banks of a river u cannot ask for more. Lovely scrumptious food and as it was our anniversary they organised a cute cake too 🌺🌸🌺

We were a group of 8 office colleagues who visited Shanthi Kunnj in September 23 after their re-opening of their renovated property. Warm and courteous staff welcomed us right from the entrance, at the reception and throughout the property. Welcoming the guests the traditional way of holding a tali and applying tika on the forehead at the reception gave a good vibe of the property from the start. Temperature controlled swimming pool, inhouse restaurant serving delicious authentic Chinese cuisine, continental and local dishes, Eco friendly cottages with luxury facilities for the guests to enjoy, boating and trekking/nature walk near the property were the highlights of this property that one cannot miss to experience.
I must say that Shanthi Kunnj has elevated itself to a resort category. It is a must visit to every traveller visiting Chikmagalur.

The stay was luxurious at the newly renovated Shanthi Kunnj, it was such a calming and relaxing experience right beside the Bhadra River. The staff was very hospitable, and the restaurant was excellent with quality food. The room was very spacious and neat with exquisite furnishings. I would recommend this place to all my family and friends.

Our holiday in Shanti Kunnj was really the most memorable one, all the facilities are like a 5 star resort. The location, amenities and food are amazing. The hospitality displayed by the staff is extremely impressive. Gautham and his team Pradeep, Vincent, Vinod, Ganesh, Hasan and others were really helpful from booking to checkout. We would like to recommend it to others and would definitely would visit there again. Special mention the food was lip smacking. Nice property surrounded by lush green coffee plantations (within the property as well). Rooms were neat and clean. Temp controlled swimming pool was good, so was the indoor activities room. Mr Pradeep and rest of the staff were very welcoming and courteous.
Can improve on the food services. Only their buffet option is available which is quite costlier if you should have 2 meals there. No ala carte or room service for food available which is a concern

Excellent experience, entire surrounding is amazing and completely natural, coffee garden along with other trees, flowers everything looks very good. Foods are very heigenic and tasty as per orders, cleanliness is fantastic Fire camp, trecking is totally enjoyable and nice About the Management and staff including cleaning staffs there is no words all are behaving like family members friendly and obedient Totally it is peaceful place, according to name SHANTHI KUNJ definitely one can experience shanthi here. Over all the stay was good. If you need to spend time with family out of work time this is the place
Staffs are very cooperative. This is the unique place and there are no sightseeing near by. But you have everything inside the resort.
The temperature controlled swimming pool is awesome. Don’t miss that.
The great part is food. Chef is very good and he can make any kind of cuisine

My family and I had an amazing time at Shanti Kunj! The lush surroundings and beautiful river view made for a perfect getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring our every need was met. Complementary breakfast was excellent. Boating was cancelled due to rain - however we enjoyed swimming pool and indoor games.

The Name does the justice to the property. The location is very good . It is so calm and peaceful. The place is inside a coffee plantation on the riverside and view of forest . If you are looking to relax and need a time out from city’s hustle, this is the place to go. The staff is very polite . The restaurant has the view of pool and river which is amazing .
