This little gem of a hotel is in the middle of the historical section of Ronda. The rooms are clean and cozy. We stayed in the Salama room which is a suite. The terrace above has a breathtaking view of the countryside. Anahid, the owner, is a dynamic and warm woman with a wealth of advice about everything from restaurants...

Dear Richard Thank you for your perfect summary of Baraka and Ronda. Yes, you are right, one night isn't enough for Ronda. But maybe I will have the pleasure of seeing you and your wife again. You are such a positive and upbeat couple. Thank you for adding your special energy to this old house. Best wishes for health and...

Anahid was the best hotel host we experienced on our entire stay. She helped us figure out where to eat and what to see, and was delightful. Our room was very charming, and the location was perfect in old town. We parked in new town and walked over, which worked out well for us.

The owner, Anahid, warmly welcomed us for our two night stay providing much helpful advice on restaurants and activities throughout. She has created a booklet listing her favorite restaurants and some other recommendations. (We heartily agree with her choice of Cafe Agata!) This pension is in a classic Ronda home on a quiet side street with two rooms upstairs and...

Dear Amy Thank you for your 'warm' write-up of Baraka. And thank you for enjoying it and Ronda. I am glad the builders didn't disturb you too much. Summer time they start at 7 and no matter how many times I ask them to start later, they 'forget'. Luckily they have gone back to an 8am start and not every...

This place was perfect. Anahid helped show us all the spots on a map. The location was quiet and super convenient - close walk to the main spots. The room was affordable, clean, and decorated well. There was no breakfast, but Anahid left out some treats and also offered us afternoon drinks. We felt very well taken care of. I...

Dear Erin I apologise for the late response. I just became aware of it when I responded to another guest! Yes, I remember the afternoon drink and our chats. Thanks for your comments and your appreciation of Baraka. AND your future visit and recommendations! I hope all's well with you and G (I'm not supposed to name names) and that...

We loved our stay at Baraka. Miss Anahid was wonderful with the children and a delight to get to know. The accommodations were comfortable. The street is very quiet. Loved exploring Ronda! Don't miss the Moorish baths.

We stayed 3 nights at this location which is in the old town close to all there is to do and see in Ronda. The owner speaks English (ex pat American) and Spanish and has great local knowledge and was very helpful with advice. The room is small but it is a B&B in an old building. There is no...

Dear Cameron Thank you for your accurate description of Baraka. And thank you for your appreciation. I serve continental breakfast which definitely doesn't compete with full breakfasts served elsewhere. But all is fresh and does include jams and cheese/labne/tomatos. However, starting with new guests who are booking as of 1 June, there won't be any breakfast served. There are quite...

We stayed in the larger Salama suite and were able to spread out and get comfortable in the two rooms.
