We stayed here for 2 nights during a 2 week tour of Andalucia. It was full of charm in a lovely location at the bottom of the hill, good exercise to walk up into town. And the best breakfasts we've had during our stay, with lots of fresh fruit and homemade cakes.

As the name of this special little Hotel implies, it stands right next to what is probably Anadalucia's best preserved Hammam, as well as an exquisite bridge from the same era. In harmony with this, the hotel is a Moorish joy - the decorative style of the lounge and bedrooms is evocative of Ronda's Moorish past, when it was a...

This was one of my all-time favorite places to stay. The staff were fantastic, the hotel has so much character that we instantly booked two more nights right after checking in, and the breakfasts were unbeatable. Fresh fruit, freshly squeezed fruit juice, homemade bread with homemade jams, salamis and cheeses, teas and coffees...absolutely wonderful. They had another thing I've never...

The location of this hotel affords great views of the town of Ronda as long as you don't mind looking up !! However its situation at the bottom of the gorge, next to the Arab Baths and surrounded by horses and views to die for made the climb up the hill to eat at the excellent tapas bars more than...

We stayed at the Hotel Alavera for seven days whilst attending a family wedding in Ronda, having chosen it for its location, its beautiful gardens and swimming pool (an essential for our daughters and their husbands). What we found was a quiet oasis just outside the old town walls and next to the fascinating Arab Baths and a few steps...

Dear Clive Thank you for your nice review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay so much and hope to see you in the future again. Thanks also for the 4 star category given by you. Although you will note that looking from our terrace at night you'll see that there are many more of them. Nicer than 4...

Great place. Quiet and refined. Staff were excellent and very helpful. I would go back in a minute. Not a corporate type of place with a wide screen in every room. It is subtle and brilliantly decorated.

A fantastic find (finally). We explored much of the area around Ronda thanks to our GPS and the lack of street signs. When we finally arrived at the hotel we were extremely happy that we had persevered in locating the hotel. From the moment we entered the hotel we were delighted with the decor, ambience and the service. It was...

This is a small boutique hotel just outside of Ronda. Great if you're driving and you don't want to deal with the narrow, steep streets of the town. It's an easy walk to any part of Ronda. The rooms are small, but comfortable. There is no A/C, but the nights are cool. The big plus in the common area -...

We originally learned of Alavera de los Banos during our visit to Ronda in 2011 from some amazing locals to include Inma. During our return trip to Northern Spain May 2014, we made a special trip to the beautiful Andaluiz town of Ronda and Alavera de los Banos in hopes of finding the wonderful people we met and the hopes...

I travel frequently for business and pleasure. Alavera is a beautiful hotel and the owners and team strike the perfect balance between professionalism and a personal touch - they are as friendly and helpful as you're likely to find anywhere. The interior is designed beautifully and is in a very unique and special building. I can't recommend this hotel highly...
