This carefully restored building dates from the 18th century and lies in the most historic district of Ronda, surrounded by ancient monuments.Retaining much of its original charm, the San Gabriel still displays an attractive stone façade and the coat of arms of one of its former owners. Spend a quiet moment in the library corner or in the typically Andalusian courtyard, full of plants and a trickling fountain. Here you can start the day with the hotel’s delicious breakfast. You can also enjoy a film in the intimate cinema room, which includes red velvet seats taken from the city’s old cinema. Combined with its privileged location, the hotel facilities make this a truly authentic Spanish setting for your holiday in rural Andalusia.

Pros: - This hotel is affordable and is the old town of Ronda. However, despite what Rick Steves says, I don't think the old town of Ronda is actually where you want to be. Most of the sights, eats and action is in the new part of Ronda. - A parking lot is a 5 minute walk from

This is a lovely, historic hotel located just off the main street in Ronda. Close walk to everything. Has both an elevator and stairs. They will help you with luggage if you need it. Couple of steps up into the front door. We had a huge room with an additional private

Great location, warm service. Breakfast was excellent. Close to the great views from the bridge. Parking close and cheap. If you have time, enjoy the library and small theater. Ask about the excellent food close by.

What a fantastic property, truly a treasure. We stayed for 2 nights, as the weather abruptly turned cold and wet in Ronda. They are situated between the Puenta Nuevo and the historic center. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, although we never did figure out how to

Can I reserve garage?
Dear Guest, sorry for the delay in our answer, the hotel was closed for the winter holidays. Yes there is a parking very closed to the hotel, you can stop in the main door of the hotel and the staff will explain you everything. You don´t need to make a reservation for the parking because we have one place per guest. The price for the day in the parking is 9,90€. Don´t hesitate to write us again if you have any other question. Have a nice trip! Ana Arnal Hotel San Gabriel

Is it easy to get here from Malaga and return to Malaga
Dear guest, Yes the way from Malaga to Ronda is very easy, you can rent your own car or you can take a bus. There many buses from Málaga to Ronda every day with the company "Los Amarillos" and this takes you 1,30h. I pass you some details about the way by car from Malaga to Ronda, I hope this will be usefull for you, Malaga roads change very often I hope all the information that I send you will be correct. MALAGA TO RONDA : To take the way Málaga to Ronda you have two options take the road of the Costa del Sol direction Torremolinos , Fuengirola , Marbella , San Pedro and Ronda ( Road number N-340 ) but if you want go directly to Ronda we recommend you to take the road number A-357 direction Cartama , Ardales , Cuevas del Becerro and Ronda. Perhaps the road A-340 looks better than the interior road but in the last part of the trip, from San Pedro to Ronda, you have 45 km with a lot off bends and a cliff near to the road. The interior road number A-357 is more quiet and directly. If you decide to take the interior road (A-357) you will need to leave the town direction Campanillas – Parque Tecnológico, in this way you will find the signs to Cartama. Later you will be passing by the towns of Pizarra and Carratraca. Around 15 minutes after Carratraca you will see two options , one to Campillos and one to Ardales . You must take the way to Ardales. Around half an hour far you will cross the town of Cuevas del Becerro and 20 minutes later you will entry in the town of Ronda. How to arrive the hotel : You will entry Ronda by the North ( modern part ) you must look for the city center, the bullring and later for the New Bridge ( most famous monument in the city ) and cross it to entry in the old part of the city. Take the second street on your right and you will see the main door of the hotel . You could park your car in the main door of the hotel to move the laguage and we will show you in a map where is the parking. Pleasea don’t hesitate to call us if you will need anything else . Our telephone number is 952.19.03.92 . Have a good trip !!
