Centrally located in the pedestrianised old town you can´t fault the location. There is underground public parking but at the moment there are roadworks and my satnav gave up the ghost. I had to park 20 mins away. Only stayed one night and didn´t eat so no review on that. The room was on the second floor and the stairs... More

I stayed here for a week in July when my daughter went to a Spanish language school nearby. The hotel/restaurant is located opposite the bull ring in the centre of Ronda. Had nice clean room with two windows & excellent air con. It was hot weather. Some nice meals outside & lovely Spanish breakfasts with oil & tomatoes. The staff... More

Awful. Moldy walls and rooms, leaky showers, absolutely no ventilation in some of the rooms. If you even got towels, replacement towels, they would come as if they were used with dirt marks on them. The mold was so bad in one of the rooms that friends of ours had to move to a different room. Service was decent until... More

We had not planned on staying in Ronda overnight, but after a 3:15AM start in Nerja, and a dawn drive through the mountains after dropping our friends at the airport, and then a full day crawling around Ronda, I didn't have the steam to drive back. We walked past this little "pension" on our quest for the post office. I... More

Our rooms were tiny (For the same price, my friend had a double and I was assigned a very small single so I politely asked for a double and was given one.) as were the bathrooms with a small tub, good water pressure in the shower, no hair dryer or phone in the room, a bed that creaked every time... Ronda is a rip-off pricey place so this was the cheapest hotel, but not necessarily value for money. The restaurant downstairs does have a bit of atmosphere but the room was not one you wanted to spend any time in. Bed was very very old and had a dip in the middle - woke up 4 times in the one... A very traditional old-school Spanish hotel, with a lot of quirks and character (e.g. you must traverse the restaurant to check-in and get to the stairs leading to the rooms). Nothing fancy, but very serviceable, economical, in a great location in the heart of Ronda, and overall a fun and memorable experience.

Stunning old hotel with traditionally furnished rooms. We asked for a double room but it was two singles put together and the bathroom was tiny but these are our only gripes. The room spacious and spotless with a gorgeous 'Juliette' style balcony overlooking the street. The staff were so lovely and we actually felt a little sad when leaving as... More

This is a hotel con encanto, with character. The framed photos of the wall show famous toreros from the Ordonez and Romero dynasty or ring true of stories of Carmen. There is a fake well in the actual restaurant, a tapas bar area and the rooms have air con and some, look onto a busy street adjacent to Plaza de... More

This is your average Mediterranean budget hotel. It is in a rather perfect location, but be aware it gets very noisy for many hours of the day due to the Macias Restaurant being right on the street below. The clatter of glasses and talkers can last to the early morning if you are an early to bed sort of person.... More

“We wanted quiet, and quiet we got! (I don't imagine Ronda would be noisy at night at this time of year, but we got what we asked for.) Our room had no external windows, except through the tiny bathroom that opened onto the tiled internal patio. The ceiling fan was quiet and kept the air moving, though. Great for a long sleep-in, if that is what you need. We used one of the two rooms in this 'suite' (five beds all up, from memory). Next time, I'd probably ask for a room with an external window.”
