The El Poeta is location just a few meters from the gorge - which is the major site in Ronda. It is a bit over decorated for my taste, but it was pleasant, clean and well managed. We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was good, the beds were good, the bathroom was lovely, except that we ran out of...

Booked this hotel through booking .com and what a beautiful surprise it turned out to be .Its a small run family hotel so central in the old town metres from the new bridge..It offers parking at a nearby car park at a reduced rate for 24hrs.My room was allocated at the back of the hotel and was wonderful with all...

We stayed here for one night on new year's day. The hotel claims to be four star, but it's quality falls far short. Our room was small, looking out on light well with noisy air conditioning or something. The towels were torn and stained, the sheets were thin and the minibar was not working. The breakfast was inadequate with little...

Located within 100 meters of the New Bridge, The El Poeta de Ronda is in a wonderful location to serve as a base for your exploration of Ronda. The mountain views from my room were awesome. The room itself was of moderate size and furnished, as was the rest of the hotel with beautiful antique furniture and accessories. The breakfast,...

We only stayed one night but enjoyed staying in such a beautiful Spanish building which is situated in the most scenic part of Ronda. The breakfast was continental and so we did miss not having a hot selection. There is a cafe bar open during the day but no bar in the evening. We found the town went quiet quite...

This is a small traditional hotel in the centre of Ronda . The rooms are traditionally furnished . The only problem with the rooms is the showers and its so simple to fix , a new shower head for starters ! Pleasant man at reception and easy check in . You can drop off by hotel and park in one...

When visiting Spain we made last minute decision to stay in Ronda. We used Tripadviser to check for available hotels and spotted El Poeta de Ronda at a very reasonable price. When we drove into town we found ourselves (to our surprise) in the midst of Ronda’s Famous Féria Goyesca festival. Although we were not able to stay for the...

We enjoyed our two night stay here and found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. They arranged for a taxi to visit the Pileta cave which was a highlight of our visit. Our room was on the top floor in the back and we heard no street noise. We did not have a balcony but the windows were large...

I cannot say enough good things about this lovely local hotel. The location is perfect - just across the new Bridge in old town. You will be warmly greeted by the staff who can help with any questions you have. The breakfast this morning was just the way to begin our day. The history of the hotel is very interesting...

I was here for only one night last week - but this hotel left a lasting impression! It's a lovely old mansion building rammed with antique furniture and memorabilia. It's located just off the bridge and nestles on the corner of the main road - it's easy to find and has an open out cafe/bar which appears fairly quiet and...
