Two night stay, room extremely small but view of the valley was superb. Room very dusty, visible dust on bedside tables. Breakfast nice but over priced $35/head plus $5.50 per cappuccino. Wine prices $50-$60 per bottle. No mini bar in room, Service nice in all eating facilities, reception lacking in personality and no feeling of thank you for your business....

Booked a deal, so no view, rooms are small but very well decorated. At least the towels were huge and fluffy. Obviously spent a lot of money on the refurb, but its still like a rabbit warren. We stayed early in the week so the lounge wasn't open. Still a lovely place to visit, not sure I would bother to...

We actually had a high tea/lunch. Wonderful venue for a friends' reunion on my visit back to Australia after 20 years. The savouries, scones and cakes were delicious. I found the breakfast tea very strong, my friend had the Darjeeling which was also strong - tip, pour it quickly! The sparkling wine was good though 🥂. Loved the setting and...

Booked a good room we thought, room was great, NO VIEW. Wonderful place to visit but lacks warmth, no soul. Staff issue I believe. Food and service good but lacked warmth, no real feeling of being welcome there.

This is by far the best high tea I have experienced. The venue provides the perfect setting for the high tea and the service was excellent. And then there is the magnificent view from the restaurant - breathtaking. Gold star all the way.

The Hydro Majestic is a beautiful place to stay. Concierge were extremely helpful and high tea at The Wintergarden is a must. The service at the restaurant was great and the menu had an abundance of options - the view is also beautiful!

We have just come back from 2 nights at the Hydro Majestic. On the whole we enjoyed our stay. However the rooms are small and the bathrooms also small. I assume that they have made the best out of what was available-being an old hotel. However the price was way too high for what was offered. The view from our...

Firstly we needed to change our original booking to another weekend due to personal matters and the bookings desk were more then happy to accomodate our needs. This was our first stay at the Hydro since it's renovation and it didn't disappoint. We were pleasently greeted on arrival and shown to our room which was small ( which I clearly...

We were a small group of ladies riding motorcycles sharing 4x twin rooms. The twin room we had was beautifully appointed but small. Not much room for our riding gear. The air conditioning was very cool .... nice after a hot day of riding .... 38 degrees. The ensuite bathroom was also small, but nicely appointed. We were limited with...

What a superb place to enjoy Afternoon Tea. A beautifully renovated Art Deco building with sensational views out over the valley with a tasty and copious selection of sandwiches, cakes etc and fine selection of teas. Our visit was followed by a tour of this fantastic building with an accompanying history. Before being taken theirbas part of our managed Australian...
