This really is a beautiful place to half for the night. It is kind of half way between Nasca and Cusco, and the route/the scenery along the route is just awesome ! We arrived late in the evening, and they were very kind to prepare a snack for us to eat. What a view we had in the morning -...

I visited with a motorhome. The setting is great with lush greenery, alpacas, llamas and pheasants that are free in the gardens. There is no wifi and no cellular coverage...so you are totally isolated. Restaurant rather expensive and not really good. There is not an alternative restaurant in the village of Chaluanca either. But again the setting is really lovely!

Located halfway Nasca and Cusco in the middle of nowhere. It has the feel of a small town with a plaza, a church and a restaurant. Nice spacious rooms, but a little bit noisy if you have neighbors above or below. Very popular with motorcyclists. Excelent service, not much to do.

Ideally located between Nazca and Cuzco, we stayed for one night, arriving when it was just getting dark. The food at the onsite restaurant was good and the grounds are nice. I had seen one dog on our arrival and in the middle of the night heard some dogs making a racket. I went outside and walked about 50 meters...

If you drive from Nazca to Cusco (or vice versa) there are very few western standard hotels or B6Bs, this in my view is the only one and therefore also the best option! Driving from Nazca is around 6 hours and then from here to Cusco another 4 hours. The whole complex is fenced, therefore very safe, they have an...

Nice site, but the hotel is located 20km from Chalhuanca away and there is nothing else except the hotel with its dogs and alpacas. There were two sun beds, but which were useless due to the huge amount of biting houseflies. The rooms are quite big. Dinner and breakfast were not satifying considering the price. There is no wifi nor...

Good hot water, good restaurant, secure parking, beautiful grounds, friendly staff, interesting wildlife kept on site... Tampumayu did not disappoint. Although it's a bit pricey, if you're driving the Apurimac route between Lima and Cusco, you'll find Tampumayu an incredibly welcoming and pleasant place to spend a night of your journey. As a bonus, their breakfast was the largest free...

Great location to rest when traveling from Cuzco to Nazca or viceversa. Big territory, like a small village, with a church, fountain, gardens, animals, birds, fish. Quite place ideal for a pleasant rest. Spacious rooms. Beautiful surroundings to explore: river, mountains. Nevertheless I don't understand why this hotel is so expensive comparing to similar in other touristic regions - Nazca,...

Midway between Nazca and Cusco, this hotel is an oasis of excellent facilities. The hotel has a restaurant with excellent food. Gardens are beautiful with peacocks and fountains. Must note that the hotel does not accept credit cards. Hotwater seems limited in supply. Cash only makes it difficult for travellers who do not want to carry cash. Recommended.
