We stayed a weekend in September at this rural hotel with the aim of visiting the Romanesque churches of northern Palencia and the bison reserve of San CebriĂĄn de MudĂĄ.
It is a great accommodation of few rooms in San Martin de Perapertu, one of the five population centers that constitute the city of San CebriĂĄn de Muda. The environment is very quiet, as there are no more than 20 people registered here. The hotel occupies what was the space of houses, a forge and a haystack.
We were in two rooms: one double on the top floor and one on the bottom floor that allowed pets, one of the reasons we chose this hotel. As for the double room I was in, two beds which, although with soft mattress, was very comfortable to sleep. The wardrobe was clothes hangers. Apart there was TV and of course heating. The room had stairs to climb to a mezzanine where there was a double mattress, although it was not prepared.
The bathroom with hand gel, shampoo and gel. It had a bathtub and the water came out with very good pressure and hot quickly.
There is no telephone coverage to the accommodation, but there is wifi. As for breakfast, it is from 9:00 to 10:30 and consists of orange juice, coffee or milk (which can be with colacao for example), toasted bread with butter and jam, a piece of homemade cake.
At one time it also offered dinner service, which is still discussed on the website, but is not currently offered.
In short, very good accommodation to rest and carry out activities in the area.

Lovely little place in beautiful countryside. The food was wonderful. Carmen totally understood vegetarian and vegan diets and prepared fantastic meals for us, as well as for our omnivore companions. The buffet breakfast foods were clearly labelled. Everything was delicious! Excellent service and nice comfortable rooms.

Thank you Carmen for your fantastic Christmas meals! We stayed here as part of a Naturetrek trip to search for wolves and other wildlife. The hotel is a beautifully converted farm house and it has rustic and cosy features, The food is all locally sourced where possible and our group of 9 found a warm kind welcome here. We saw wolves, a bear and wildcats in the mountains and always came back to a homely atmosphere with a lovely wood burning stove. The area is so stunning and it is great that we could look forward to our evenings at the inn with chickens in the garden and lovely views from the windows.

Beautiful Hotel, in a beautiful place, with beautiful people! The owners were incredibly kind and friendly. The little village is situated in a very quiet place. It was all so "natural"! We spent a great time there!
