Undoubtedly one of the best 4 star resorts in Kerala with a backwater and beach frontage. Have stayed at this property many a times and always had a good experience. This time though it was different as service levels and food quality have taken a hit. Spa services were available on call. Hope to see the standard go back to 5 star level on my next visit as I am sure to be back.
We visited the resort with family on Feb 2022, a total of 12 adults and 4 kids were there, first the positives : The resort has a superb view and the property is good They have a good pool also, the kids enjoyed a lot playing there even tho the pool hasn’t maintained in pristine condition Now the negative aspects : The food they served was a bit over priced and the quality was below average The worst part was breakfast, at around 8:30 am itself some items was over and they were not at all interested to fill the items The menu was also pretty normal . The pricing of the rooms were also a bit high since they were not providing the facilities and amenities for such premium tariff.
I am so shocked to see 4 stars given to this resort. Also to my surprise, how could people give good reviews. Super pathetic service, staff at the reception is rude and is not accommodative after 9 pm at all. We got our dinner packed after such as a tiring day and requested some plates and cutleries politely after 9 pm. But the person at the reception denied the request rudely. Super pathetic behaviour and service. I have stayed in so many hotels and resorts of all stars ranging 3-5, this is the worst experience. Do not waste your money by staying here.
We had a good time as a family aged from 10-76 years at this resort that spans between the backwaters of Kerala and the mighty Arabian Sea on either sides. Located just over an hours drive from central Kochi, the Chirai beach offers a spectacular experience of the sea. Though a bit pricey; the ambience of the place, comfortable rooms with basic amenities, the infinity pool, close access to the sea, all inclusive breakfast serving Keralean favourites, the accommodating staff, restaurant on site etc make up for this. The resort has however seen better days and is in need of a touch up. There were minor issues that marred our experience like disruption to the water supply for many hours, lack of pool side amenities like deckchairs & parasols, a paddle boat that seriously makes the most creaky noise etc. The restaurant prices could also have been a bit reasonable, as many guests preferred dining elsewhere. Despite all this, we had a lovely time as we were having a extended family holiday after a long period and the fact that the wonderful memories we created are priceless.…
We stayed 3 days in Sealagoon health resort.nice ambience. Took ayurvedic spa treatments which was exotic. I had swelling and severe pain persisting in my shoulder from last year .The Doctor suggested me some special treatments and I took 4 sessions. Felt so relaxed and my swelling was gone. It was a great surprise for us. My husband also took ayurvedic treatment. And he too just loved it. And Mr. Doctor suggested me some further exercises I can do at home. Overall, an angelic stay.
