We had a pleasant stay in the heritage jacuzzi. The aesthetic design of the villa gave us a heritage and at the same time a luxurious feel. The property is so clean and well maintained. Another attraction is their restaurant which is situated near the beach which gives scrumptious food and a great ambiance. They also have spa and other activities for the guests. The staffs are friendly and courteous. The hospitality was incredible. Kudos to the whole team👍

The location and ambience is very good. We have stayed at panoramic jacuzzi room which was a great experience. Food is not up to the level expected. By 8 pm No to seafood items for dinner. They claim they provide free evening snack. For ten rupees snack we had to wait one hour. There is no responsible staff visible. Overall good for onetime try.

Very neat and clean resort compared to other resorts n Cherai, their wave restaurant is located very close to beach. Spa service is excellent. We booked Traquil wooden jacuzzi room. Overall very good experience and had enjoyable trip.

I was scammed by Kamal and team, the GM is nowhere to be found. Booking the most expensive room at the MALIEKAL HERITANCE CHERAI, one expects a certain level of luxury and professionalism. Instead, I got a broken blind that compromised our privacy, blatant denials from the staff, a downgrade in room disguised as an “equal offer,” and a manager that embodies rudeness. Here's the nightmare in short: 1. Checked into the top-tier room at 6pm. 2. Immediately noticed a fully broken blind. 3. This blind issue meant beachgoers got a free view into our room and pool. 4. Staff not only denied the problem but also invaded our privacy by entering uninvited. 5. Manager Kamal needed a beach tour to acknowledge the glaring issue. 6. Their solution? Offer a lower-grade room, claiming it's equally priced. 7. Had to use MMT to show them the price difference, a whopping 15k! 8. Throughout this fiasco, speaking to a higher authority was made impossible. The GM continues to avoid my phone calls 9. Kamal's solution? Kicked us out without email confirmation. 10. 2 hours wasted, had to leave at night, yet the GM dodged responsibility and provided no refund details. Result? Cheated, scammed, and utterly disappointed. Travelers, beware of this property's deceptive practices and lack of customer care.…

Luxurious resort with well-maintained amenities and friendly staff. The location provides panoramic views of both the sea and backwaters. Plenty of facilities including swimming pool, peddle-boating, kayaking, fishing, etc are included. Rooms are spacious and provide a great ambiance. All in all an unforgettable stay and definitely worth visiting with friends and family.

The resort is beautifully placed between the lake and the Arabian sea. Our family of 4 was very conveniently accommodated in the Opulence Jacuzzi duplex cottage. The restaurant is located on the beach and having evening high tea or drinks in open restaurant with the cool sea breeze was absolutely amazing. The resort has a peaceful environment with an amazing swimming pool and other facilities. The food in the restaurant was also good. Special thanks to Ritheesh and Vineet for the wonderful stay and cuisine. Would recommend to stay in this resort when in Kochi.

This has been my second trip to this property along with my family. And I should say, there has been a massive difference between the first time and this time. They have drastically improved as far as the property and the aesthetics are concerned. And I was glad, it had been a welcome change! The first welcome at the reception was just okay, not everyone looks happy there! I wish they were friendlier and would make us guests feel more welcome to their property. Very negligible to no smiles, I wonder if the staff working there are even happy being there? I would never recommend the Villa room, unless you have at least two families to occupy it. Else, you just get one part of the villa, and which makes no sense and is absolutely a waste of money. The wooden cottages though looking tinier, but a lot more useful, were a better deal, since it was also facing the riverside and the night light was beautifully reflecting on that side of the property. I would say that the location isn’t the best one. Like some resorts that give security to their guests, inspite of being a public beach, this one surely could try and work on that. Besides, the resort is on one side of the road and the beach is on the other. So there isn’t really a connect. And surely no safety when we are with our families and young children. My 4 star rating is undoubtedly for the food of their restaurant named WAVES, again on the other side of the road. It’s a bit of inconvenience, to be honest. But the food is great! Superb and fresh preparations. Not everything on the menu was available, because again, this place is short staffed. The chef was unavailable like what we were told. That was a thorough disappointment, but nevertheless, the quality of the food, made it worthwhile! There was a little disappointing episode with one of the staff there, but I would surely place on record the very kind and warm service of two impeccable gentlemen, VINEETH and SIBY who were very patient and pleasant while taking care of not just us, but other guests there too! For this, we are extremely grateful! A few changes here and there could help bring about a more memorable experience for guests looking forward to visit Cherai. Good luck to them!…
