So happy to have stayed here. After reading many reviews for resorts and hotels in the area, it felt like whatever you picked was a gamble. Well we came out on top with this place. The staff was so kind and were so attentive and helpful. Breakfast was great! They gave us advise and directions, organized a pick up from the airport, got us a tuk tuk when needed. We even played the game under the breakfast tables with the staff one afternoon, it was a lot of fun. I stayed there with my mom, we were doing a mini beach vacay for my birthday. We also went to Waves Café down the road for dinner and that was also awesome. We stayed in the building that had rooms, not in the cabins. We had no trouble with mosquitoes, or any other critters. There were a couple of super cute geckos sometimes (that my mom did not like), but we called the staff and they came and got them out. :) Thanks so much for everything!

Tucked away in the backwaters this place is perfect for a retreat. Simple but stylish rooms and communal area to sit and chat relax in a hammock or just take in the sounds around. The rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bedding when required. As this was an Ayurveda Retreat the food was freshly cooked and tailored to our requirements including a traditional style indian breakfast. Staff were helpful at all times even taught the group to play carroms a traditional Indian table board game. All my group had a wonderful experience and are hoping to return.

This the second time I have been here and it really is heaven on earth! The chilled vibes of the whole of the Cherai area plus this little oasis even calmer and more peaceful in the midst of all, this is incredible. It is a true paradise. The rooms are clean,. airy and beautiful,, all with a private bathroom. the gardens are delightful add restful, especially for relaxing and gazing at the beautiful views of the backwaters and nature and ;listening to the birds. In addition there is fabulous ayurveda treatment and yoga available and delicious food. All the staff are friendly, efficient helpful and lovely. What more do I need!

Stay away! We went there reading the reviews but this place is nothing like a boutique hotel. It is infested with termites. Even on the dining table you will see mounds of wood powder. The rooms are very dirty, the blankets stink. In the name of eco friendly they have used lots of recycled wood, thats all! No real thought to eco friendliness like providing buckets for bathing which is proven to save water. Not much food options and they are grossly understaffed. Moreover the staff is rude. They charged us 16000 for 2 nights for these facilities, thorough cheaters.

Excellant location with beautiful views ,but shabbily run and maintained , not worth a second visit ! There was just very few staff, although they tried their best to make our stay comfortable,it was still way below optimum service levels ,It could be run nicely

Never judge the book by its cover . Pathetically maintained ,termites and leaks . Overgrown shrubs and plenty of Mosquito so We checked out the very next day .I would suggest not to go by the pictures posted . That would be pre Covid days for sure . They should maintain the property first before giving it out for stays !!

Budget friendly stay. Close to the Cherai beach. They don't have much amenities to offer. The rooms were clean, not too big though. We had a private seating area outside the room. They have a nice lawn to chill. Indeed a peaceful property. Our room had a backwaters view(not all rooms have the view, so mention it while booking). Staff was good. Got complimentary breakfast, which was quite okay.

We were a group of 12 people with many senior citizens, had booked for 03/27 (1 Night), 6 rooms including a family room. Room condition were pathetic. Forget about the basic amenities in some of the rooms the fan's were also not working. Every rooms were missing basic amenities. Rooms were not cleaned, bed sheets were not clean. Sitting area attached to the rooms were in a pathetic condition, you just wont like sitting in that place. In some rooms the room ceiling were being eaten by termites and tiny wood particles were falling down on to the bed. No coffee making supplies or kettle available in the room. We had to walk to the restaurant to have a morning cup of tea, although the tea served was good.. Breakfast choice was limited, choice between idli+sambar+chutney or toasted bread with butter and jam. Tea/ coffee and juice was served too. Stagnant water topped with trash or decayed algae greet you at multiple spots. The so called back water lake which touches the property was in a pathetic condition. Imagine seeing a dead chicken in the water touching the property. Lack of parking space, we were made to park our cars in nearby property space. Don't know even if that property belonged to the Resort. Also the space where we were made to park our cars were in a pathetic space. Overnight I had parked the car, next day morning the car was completely covered with decayed fruits which fell from the tree where we were made to park of cars. My reaction after visiting this property, have I come to a resort or a Ayurvedic center. Seems an Ayurvedic Center was converted into a Resort as is. Definitely if the property is managed better, this would be a good place to spend time with your friends and family.

It all started as we entered the property... lack of parking space for vehicles.... maybe they look forward only to formal tourist who arrive in rented vehicles, not the guests who drive down A stroll through the property.... impression you gathered from the photographs in here and their own site will let you down once you are here. Pretty small a piece of land... ill maintained... stagnant water topped with trash or decayed algae greet you at multiple spots We had chosen the first class air conditioned rooms in the heritage wing. Rooms were spacious.. opened the toilet to see whats in store there.... thank god i didn’t throw up.. couldn’t stand the stench for a minute.. we had to request a change of room.. owing to non availability.. we had to settle for one room which was smaller and without a television... however... surprises did continue... a toilet with a glass door... thats one hell of an interior deco idea...we decided not to complain further... accepted the room The towels were clean.. toilet supplies... limited to a single small cake of soap... No coffee making supplies or kettle available in the room. We had to walk to the restaurant to have a morning cup of tea... the tea served was good.. Bfast was very meagre... choice between idli+sambar+chutney or toasted bread with butter and jam. Tea/ coffee and juice was served too. Beach which is at a walking distance from the resort is mostly a rock wall with a view... not a sand beach... you need to drive 2-3 kms before you can gain access to a decent beach Overall... not an experience to cherish
