Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
I enjoyed my stay here. The room was quite small (single) but adequate and clean. There's a common area, the balcony, where you can enjoy a view of the sea, which is just across the road. There are rocks along the coast, so it doesn't leave much beach to enjoy, but if you like the sound of waves crashing, it's nice. Not too busy. Breakfast provided, an Indian and English option. They don't have a restaurant on site but can arrange meals to be delivered, at a small charge. Alternatively, you can eat out or use a food delivery app (I used Swiggy). The pricing is reasonable, based on other hotels in the area. What truly stood out for me was the exceptional service from the staff, very friendly and helpful. Also, as a solo female traveller, I felt safe. It's not a large property, with rooms on ground and first floor, and hall/ function area on the second floor. 2 to 3 cars can park inside, otherwise there is space just outside. Worst experience among all the places I stayed during my Kerala trip . We had two night stay . No one turned up to clean the room . Food was limited and average. We kept on requesting them to clean the room in our presence or absence but they ignored every time .

Lovely place to stay right by the beach, away from the city. Great service by Soumya and Rahul. Also got a 10% discount on a ayurvedic spa treatment. The rooms have AC and are quite spacious. A very spacious balcony to unwind with beer, coffee or even food. The beach is right across the road. Although if you want to take a dip, you'll have to walk 1km down or up the road to hit the sand. If you're worried about food, they do offer complementary breakfast. Lunch and dinner can be availed from the cafes and stalls nearby. One drawback was that my room did not receive any Wi-Fi network, although it was available throughout the facility.

This is an excellent place to Chill Out on Cherai. Budget friendly, yet equipped with all necessary facilities in the room. The rooms are clean and bathrooms are professionally maintained. The rooftop restaurant is an amazing place to hang out. It is a paradise for seafood lovers However, guests must be made aware about the timings of availability of restaurant facilities. The sea shore across the road is a gateway to tranquility.

Very warm and cosy stay option at cherai . Rahul was very prompt in serving us . Rooms are very comfortable . It’s opposite the beach so just cross the road and you can sit and enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Just that breakfast timing could be increased .

One of the best places to stay. And the service they provide, is the best. The rooms with a beach view is another attraction. The rooms are clean. Covid protocols are strictly done. And the luggages were sanitized before check inn.

The property is awesome and beautiful. No words to describe the panoramic view out there. Peace and calm atmosphere gives you a better relief and keep you fresh. The facilities provided were gleeful and clean. Room is pretty good. Open terrace gives another space.
