The rooms are very comfortable, clean and quiet. Beds are very comfy. Plenty of storage and causually elegant. You can choose a jungle view or a water view. The water view is great for sitting on your privet balcony and watching the activity of the "yachties" in the marina. From very large motor yachts to the smaller boats of the... More

We had the pleasure of staying at the Shelter Bay Marina Hotel last weekend to participate in the Sherman Triathlon. Our stay was pleasant from start to finish. Our rooms were really great, with all of the nicest ammenities. Our balcony overlooked the boats in the marina and we could enjoy the cool ocean breeze. The pool area is also... More

Marina Hotel has the best location in the Colon port area. With an incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean, this boutique hotel shines for its service and great location. Make sure you book a room with a view, it's beautiful to watch the sunrise and set everyday. Ask for Chris!

Chris and the entire team at the marina/hotel were so delightful to us as we prepared for the launch of our sailboat. The food, room, atmosphere and drinks were excellent. Shelter Bay has a real personal touch to make your stay memorable. Be sure to hike nearby for lots of aligator, sloth, monkey, etc sightings!

Thank you Chris for making our stay with you so wonderful. You are a delightful host and you run a tight and professional operation. Your above and beyond response to our needs during the tail end of the monsoon season with all the challenges of heavy rain and power interuptions was very much appreicated. You and your staff ROCK!!

Wow, was I ever surprised, and delighted, to see the changes at Shelter Bay Marina. The change is so drastic it felt like I was still in the States. They've got Keith handling the boatyard, and Chris performing fabulously on the restaurant/hotel side. The food is fabulous. We were there long enough to try just about everything on the dinner... The Dock restaurant is located overlooking the Shelter Bay Marina in the former US Army Fort Sherman, Colon Panama. The facility is a short trip to the historic Spanish Fort San Lorenzo. Much of the restaurants patrons come from the near-by yachts, so the dress is casual. The food in this restaurant is wonderful and varied. Chef/Manager Chris makes you... More
