Rooms are well maintained with unique tribal decor and hexagonal shape that made it look elegant. Resort also provides good options for food. Cottages were relatively small in size for a family with 2 kids, hence going with 4 stars, otherwise, it is a paradise with access to serene and clean beach.
The resort is beautiful. It has a small personal beach. We got a garden view single cottage. Stay was very comfortable. Staffs are very courteous. Service is good. Food was good. Recommended if someone is looking for a relaxing stay, enjoy good food, room service and a private beach.
The only good thing was the bar and service by Mr. Arpan. Unfortunately had to witness him being mistreated by the management (GM). None of the other facilities were up to mark. Would strongly advise revising the management to avoid racism.
One of the best resorts I've ever stayed in. The ambience, the sea - facing rooms everything was wonderful. The food served to us was very delicious and scrumptious. Two restaurant staff members namely Raja and Ujjwal were brilliantly and whole-heartedly doing their job. They served food as well as happiness to everyone. Apart from the resort's tranquilityand serenity, they both will also be remembered by me.
This was amoung limited choices as part of our last minute plan to include Neil. The resort is nicely located and few of the only ones with actual beach, many others including Sea Shell properties are not on the beach. The highlight of our stay was the excellent service provided by team led by Vijaylakshmi. She was extremely helpful and proactive as we were traveling with an Infant. She is a great ambassador of Neil and Silversands Pros - great food, excellent location and good beach Cons - pretty standard rooms with minimal facilities Overall a good one night stay
Awesome location with secluded and clean beach. Resort has Spacious and clean rooms. Food is also very tasty and resort has offered us various types of food/cuisine. Staff is also polite and helpful. 😊
Everything from the rooms to comfort to service hospitality & above all very very warm helping front office. I recommend it to everyone. It’s an honest review n not a sponsored one.Best part is that every sightseeing destination & the port is so close by making it all the more convenient
Amazing place to stay food is good people are awesome recommended . Need a vehicle for convence otherwise place and people both are really good . Neil island have limited rent scooty..approx 50 for whole island so please perfer to convence first…cycle can also be the best convence …we got the cycle
In terms of the physical property the owner has put his heart right from the layout to the décor. But what falls terribly flat is the service which is the soul of hospitality industry and that too when the price is at par with the best. I had booked a cab in advance from the hotel for the arrival at the Harbor but it was not there and I had to remind the hotel and got me waiting for approx. 30min. Once at the hotel I felt good about the ambience and the décor but that did not last long with the services that was to be catered. The room charges for the night was Rs.19,500 (approx.) and at that price point as a guest the expectation too goes high but only to find faulty tea maker and geyser which got replaced and mended but these should had been taken care beforehand at that price point. One incident I found hilarious was as soon as I checked in to the room I asked for the in room dining service to which a room service staff came with a menu and asked to click the pic of the menu and I observed he had the same menu being taken to other accommodations too (some innovative way for being paperless😂 ), The pvt beach which could be the USP of the property was not kept well and could find shattered glasses of booze bottles and litters (the Hotel can do its due of Swachh Bharat in the true spirit of Amazing Andaman). The food was mediocre and the water bottle on the restaurant was murky and not cleaned properly so had to request the waiter for the change of water. When asked about the night gazing which the Neil Island is one of the rare places in the world the staff seemed totally unaware and could sense they were not motivated, the HR is the weakest link (needs major overhaul esp. the GM's/the manager's). I had no issue with Wi-Fi being non existent as the network provider in almost the whole of Neil Island is poor so for that can't crib the resort. Some positive takeaways were that the room was clean, good décor, room service I felt was prompt and the lady on the front desk (could not get her name) was really good and has the quality of hospitality industry. However, if anyone reviews the photo I 'm uploading it is an incident where a room service staff got a used tea mug from an accommodation and coyly washed it at the tap point (which I feel is meant for landscaping) with no use of any detergent or soap just next to our room and all the while he had this guilty look if he's being watched. I felt really bad for the guest who must have asked for the change of the cups. I hope this is just one freak incident and not a practice used quite often. This is why I felt the staffs are not trained for hospitality, their body language feels un motivated and I advice the management to hire a good experienced GM/Manager. Luckily I was there for just a night and checked out ASAP the next day at 8:30am…
A decent resort with a massive compound and a private sea front. It's not a beach as it is very rocky. The rooms are very small and the Wifi although advertised is non existent. Lack of any cellular network (Jio, Airtel and Vodafone) in Neil Island makes you miss Wifi even more. The buffet spread is very limited for the price and the service is very slow. The road leading to the property is in shambles. The service standards and responsiveness of staff in general is very poor. It is fairly overpriced for the offering and there are many better properties in Neil. You can give this one a pass. I stayed there for 2 nights.
