The hotel is across from the sea so only a short walk to be able to take in the sights. The positives were it's reasonably priced, the staff are very friendly and the breakfast is great (the sausage, bacon etc. are all good quality and they freshly do croissants for you). The cons were the room was pretty dated, although...

Very disappointing stay at The Commodore. First impression was good with friendly helpful lady on reception. Our first impression of our room was that it was tired and dated and certainly didn't feel very welcoming at all. The bathroom was dirty and had mould around the bath and screen. The net curtain was filthy and a bodge job was done...

Great location overlooking the Sandy beach. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was good value and delicious. The restaurant is so popular that you need to book with some meals at 2 for £12. The decor is tired and the rooms could do with a makeover. Room 8 is best avoided with kitchen fans on all day...

Came to this hotel with family for one night for a wedding anniversary celebration. Receptionist was warm and friendly and showed us to our room. Room was clean and tidy. As others have said this hotel is in need of modernisation. Particularly the bathrooms. Room 4 is what I would describe as "cozy". It's a little disconcerting to see a...

We visited for a wedding. First the positives - staff were very friendly and breakfast was lovely. Unfortunately that was about all. The hotel is very shabby and needs some money spending on it to update it. Our room was tired and drab and nothing like the website photo. A mismatched peach bathroom with cracked tiles. At the bathroom window...

I have just returned from an overnight stay in this hotel and i can honestly say i cant fault it. The annex we stayed in with our dog was perfect. Clean, comfortable with all facilities we needed. Staff are very friendly and breakfast superb. I will definately stay here again. A dog friendly hotel is a rarity

Stayed at the Commodore Hotel for one night. A short drive from Weston Super Mare but that was a plus point as the hotel is situated in a peaceful area just across the road from the beach. A little old and dated in places but very friendly and welcoming staff on arrival. The room was adequate, bed comfortable, tea coffee...

Delicious carvery. Lovely thick unctuous gravy. Beautiful tender beef, the way it oughta be. Can choose a mix of meat which I did and had pork too, which was also top drawer. Vegetable selection also cracking. Loved the leek in cheese sauce. My partner liked it so much we came back the next day. This time I had pie which...

We have stayed here a couple of times and eaten here a few times. Yes it is dated but it is always clean and the staff are attentive and friendly. The breakfasts are excellent. Freshly cooked to order. Evening meals are also good. Portions are large. The location is wonderful. Wifi has always worked for me.

We booked this hotel last minute en route to our main holiday destination, it was a bit further out of Weston Super Mare than we expected but lovely location when we did get there right opposite the beach, had to press an intercom on arrival as we arrived at 9pm but was answered and the girl friendly. The room was...
