There was over a tea spoon of sediment left in the bottom of her glass of red wine (half of which was accidentally drunk!). I completely understand that there is to be some amount of sediment in red wine but not that much. I politely asked if we could just have another glass of wine on the house (after buying...

Stayed for two nights in a small twin room (room 6). Room clean enough but not much room around the beds to move around. Luckily we weren't in the room much. Beds comfy though. Bathroom really let it down however, a bit shabby, ugly pipes behind door that hadn't been dusted for some time, limescale on the taps, dirty skirting...

stayed here with my wife and family, great location and made very welcome, clean tidy rooms , some with sea views, fantastic food especially the carvery which is excellent value for money, and a great range on the menu. Full English buffett breakfast was very filling and so tasty, as so were the meats and produce used for the carvery....

From the start of booking the wedding with Jackie to the day it all happened where Peter took over I cannot rate how great this hotel was. Warm friendly great service and food and although not 5 star the staff and the warmth of the venue more than make up for it. Every single person who came to our wedding...

We booked a family room that we stayed in in December 2015 and specifically requested room 14 which was a three roomed apartment including an en suite. At that time the tariff was £49.95 per night, (B&B) Image my surprise when after increasing the tariff to £69.49 per night the room was reduced to ONE SMALL ROOM! No one informed...

We visited for lunch as they are very pet friendly. We had a couple of baguettes, these were freshly prepared and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly even though very busy as there was a wedding on that afternoon.

Am surprised at all the poor reviews. We have been frequent visitors at The Commodore over the past few months, as we have a winter pitch for our caravan close by. We've never had bad service, quite the opposite, and we've enjoyed every meal. We particularly like the carvery. Added bonus for us it's dog friendly too. We really like...

Okay. Weston super mare is never going to be the culinary capital of Somerset, but the Commodore hotel offers a carvery that I would thoroughly advise you to avoid. Carvery isn't everyone's cuppa I know, but for those who do like a slice of beef and a few roast potatoes, and who cant be bothered to cook it all, carvery...
