We stopped at Hat Head Holiday Park for overnight stay in November 2016. We have a large van and found the caravan site too small. When asked if we could over lap and take the front and rear site, we were told by Management and staff we would have to pay for two sites. As it a large park and...

The Hat Head holiday park / campground is spacious with a choice of varying site options. We camped along the river on an unpowered site which meant you only have the bush and river on one side of you creating a feeling of being outdoors. Plenty of birds and visiting kangaroo along the river, plus a friendly pet rabbit hops...

Gr8 place to relax and get back to nature while still having your creature comforts of hot showers and toilets. Kids can run wild and enjoy the outdoors in a safe environment. Easy on the pocket. Would recommend this place to all.

Non-refundable deposit and then day of check in told my tariff has increased for the remainder of the stay! I know they have this in writing, but how can you decide if the new tariff is too expensive or make other arrangements. I asked if I could check out a little later than 10am and was met with little help...

Close to protected, north facing, child friendly beach. River adjacent. Take snorkel and goggles for high tide to see amazing aquatic life. Showers Hot and great pressure, amenities dated and could do with a thorough clean. Sites large and shaded. Best to take majority of supplies as nearby general stores have most things but are super pricey. Also limited stock.

We've been coming to Hat Head over the Christmas holiday period for a long time. This year we visited in March where the crowds have gone and the atmosphere is even more laid back. Out of season the park is also pet friendly. Just a lovely place to visit.

Hat Head is a very pleasant and quiet small settlement. The beach is excellent and the creek adds a dimension. The caravan park is a little strange. There is a public road running through the middle of it. This road gives access to the boat ramp. Unfortunately, there are speed humps that cause every boat trailer to bounce and make...

Great place for a get away, but too many sand flies. Beaches and town nice and friendly. Enjoyed the surf and beaches. Good stop over on way through and up the coast. But watch out for sand flies,,,,,,

we went camping. the bathroom facilities were OK but the camp kitchen left a lot to be desired. there were a lot of mosquitos in early October so that was weird. Hat Head is very pretty and there is the club to go for dinner which was good. The beach was good and very clean. I loved it - except...

Hat head is a great place to visit, clear clean water both from the creek and the ocean, plenty of accommodation options, camping or in vacation houses, with a population of less than two hundred ( it does get crowded in peak times) a friendly club next to the caravan park for a cold beer a bet or a feed. You...
